(1 Star) Warning:…read moreAvoid Dan Chapman & Associates in Conyers, GA Our experience with Dan Chapman & Associates has been extremely disappointing and distressing. My brother was very ill and applying for Social Security Disability benefits, so we trusted this firm to represent him and handle his case properly. That was a huge mistake. After they received nearly $9,000 in payment, they completely stopped communicating and told us that we were "on our own." Their responsibility was to update my brother's Social Security information and address after he relocated from Georgia to Washington State to live with me, his caregiver -- but they failed to do so. Because of that carelessness, Social Security records now show inaccurate information, resulting in his benefits being suspended. We have repeatedly called, emailed, and pleaded for assistance. Instead of helping, they have ignored our calls and refused to fix the issue, even though the Social Security Administration website still lists them as the active representative. When I finally reached someone named Jennifer Wooton, she was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Rather than listening to our concerns, she talked over us, refused to cooperate, and even threatened to hang up. It is unacceptable for a law firm that claims to help disabled clients to abandon a family after getting paid. They showed no compassion, no accountability, and no interest in helping after collecting their fee. Please, do not waste your time or money with this firm. Their lack of professionalism and empathy caused my brother unnecessary hardship and stress during an already difficult time.
