In this letter they tried to demand I do and don't do certain things as if they are a judge or law enforcement. They do not know federal law as quoted and actually told me I do not have rights that I have. This law firm is (in my opinion) a JOKE! Any law firm that would send a letter such as the one I received (and to the wrong address) is one I would be utterly embarrassed to be represented by. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are far better and more professional firms out there.

Can we give zero stars?! Paid their lawyer to do an appeal in state court as he lost for us in…read moremagistrate court. He was VERY well informed of what our intentions were, very informed of the continued fighting between parties that was only escalating as time elapsed, and all the immense damage we had been caused by said party. Not only that, but our family was being severely harassed, which we had proof of. But we had decided we wanted to address going another route, as we didn't think it would play well in state court against the original party. The liability of the situation actually ended up being someone else's. Losing in magistrate court happened in February with no date in state court given and we were yet again, having trouble with these individuals and no contact from this lawyer by late May. So three months with no communication or updates except with his receptionist, who claimed she was just going to pass along info. We were never contacted again! We were also advised we would have a title search done for our property, and that never came to fruition either. We then get an email essentially out of the blue stating they won't continue as our counsel. Claiming that the situation had escalated beyond what they originally planned for. That couldn't be further from the truth! They knew and were clearly advised when we hired them, of the continued escalation of the situation, that time was of the essence and yet they continued to do nothing but take our money. He wouldn't even keep in contact with us via email! Then we realized he requested to get one of his other office attorneys involved for the harassment portion, who then told him he should dump us. Wow, tacky behavior at best! Steer clear of this firm, waste of money and waste of time!

My last communication from her was on October 31st, when she stated that she had sent a revised offer to the opposing counsel. However, the opposing attorney later confirmed that they never received any such email. Since October 31st, despite my repeated attempts to reach her by phone, text, and email, Attorney Walker has not responded. This lack of communication caused important deadlines to be missed, including the timely submission of a court date request that I repeatedly asked her to file. Even after expressing my concerns multiple times, I received no update or guidance from her. Given how critical communication and timely action are--especially in family court cases--this experience has been incredibly stressful and detrimental. Due to the lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and the negative impact on my case, I would never recommend Attorney Walker to anyone seeking dependable legal representation.

That person was able to send proof that the bill was in fact paid & I forwarded that info to the attorney. However the amount of the water bill was deducted from my proceeds. I was told as soon as Dekalb could confirm that the bill was paid, I would be sent a refund. Needless to say I can't even get anyone to confirm that this was done. I spoke with CHRISTIAN on several occasions who informed me that I needed to speak with Nicole. I then left several messages for Nicole who NEVER returned my calls. Finally after a week of calling & leaving messages I was told by CHRISTIAN in a very nasty, unprofessional voice that I needed to speak with someone else. I asked her why she was just informing me that I needed to speak with someone else a week later, her response was "that's who you need to speak with & she works remote", then she hung up on me. I called back only for someone named Addie to send me to the attorney's voicemail. I respectfully left a message on the attorneys voicemail in hopes that she would call back. From the beginning, Ms. Miller took the time to explain things to me in a way I could understand and made sure I knew what was happening throughout the process. What I appreciated most was that she didn't just look at the single incident involved in my case, she took the time to look at the entire situation and understand the bigger picture. Going through a criminal proceeding can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. It meant a lot to have someone in my corner who listened to me, believed in advocating for me, and helped me feel like I had a voice.
