He decided to get some mochi ice cream after bragging to the girls working that he is from Hawaii lol. So embarrassing. But they gave him an employee discount so that was cute. My husband is Hawaiian. Not just from Hawaii. I'm pretty sure the girls working don't know the difference, but he busted out his HI drivers license and pidgin for them. And then forced them to learn "mahalo". The mochi ice cream was just ok. I tried a bit of the tropical one and the mochi part was thin and the ice cream was more of a sorbet. I didn't think the texture of the sorbet and the mochi went together well. The inside is cute. They try to make it look more tropical I guess with fake plants.... I always have a hard time with cultural appropriation vs appreciation and I feel like things here could be much worse. Then add your protein - salmon, tuna, shrimp, grilled chicken or tofu. Then pick 4 sides such as mango, avocado, seaweed, etc. and 3 toppings and a dressing. Tasty and as healthy as you want to make it. Two sizes are offered - small for €9.5 or large for €13.5. This shop is usually busy and may take _quite awhile_ if there are a few people in front of you. It's a bit cramped for seating, especially when there's a line waiting to order.

I love grabbing a regular sized soy joy over quinoa, it's amazing. Delicious, nutritious and they even have a customer reward system where you get a stamp for every bowl you buy and the tenth is for free! Yay! Kind of makes up for what I think is a pretty pricey grab and go lunch. The ambiance is kind of airy, breezy, casual and very "now". It seems like a nice place to actually sit, eat and catch up with loved ones but I am perpetually guilty of grabbing a takeaway. Oops. As for the bowls, I love their soy joy but am determined to some day actually build my own bowl as they have loads of other great, fresh ingredients. Also, I am always impressed by the generous amount of soy chunks and really everything in the bowl. I believe this to be equally generous in the bowls that actually contain fish so it doesn't feel like it's not worth the amount you're shelling out for it. This includes few oysters and a fish-stock soup to start (my first and last time I ate oysters I might add). The waiter was pretty annoying en kept pressing us to get a bottle of wine (as I heard him do with other customers). This got so annoying to the point that (even though we did plan on getting a bottle) we left after finishing our meal. He even tried to get us to stay for desert or coffee in the same annoying manner. Even though the food was great, I'm not coming back to this place again.

It seems to cater to the takeout crowd, but there is a pleasant long single stainless steel table and stools for those who choose to eat in. They fixed my order just right; everything was delicious! The portion was generous, and the place was very clean.
