I would give them zero rating if it was an option. We bought cabinet from Kahles eight years ago for our kitchen remodel. Less than a year after the installation, the paint started to chip and peel (white inset painted cabinets). We reported this to Kahles and they sent out a third party rep to investigate. Noone from the actual company came to inspect. They blamed us for getting the cabinets wet. THEY ARE KITCHEN CABINETS!! THEY CAN GET WET.
Our cabinets were subjected to normal wear and tear, nothing out of the ordinary. No leaks from the sink or dishwasher, etc. We called them again about one year ago as the problems continue to get worse. More peeling, bubbling of paint, etc. They sent the same third party crew to look at the cabinets. And again, our fault. They would not claim responsibility for their inferior product. And again, we never heard from anyone from Kahles.
It's been eight years and we are now considering complete replacement of the cabinets. We spent over $18k on these cabinets and they look like they are 30 years old.
If you are considering cabinets from Kahles. THINK AGAIN. Inferior product, terrrible customer service. You would be better off buying from Home Depot. read more
