Apparently the owner (her father?!) was on holiday which resulted in the place not running smoothly. When the food arrived it was ok but not great. The best item on the menu was actually the "Inari San - Kimchi Beef" - that was excellent! The "Bánh Bôt Loc - Vietnamesische Tapioca Dumplings mit Füllung" were a gooey mess tasting like "something". The Sushi was ok, but it's not their sweet spot. I had tea (Oolong - Rose and Date) while we were waiting and that was actually wonderful. mild and fragrant! We will return another time to give this place another chance.

However, they use orange juice and vinegar. Not ideal. The tacos are house made in the traditional Mexican tortilla de maíz style. They serve chili which is so Tex-Mex. Quesadillas with Swiss cheese rather than Mexican queso cotija. Fried jalapeños are also very American. The guacamole is not very chunky and does not have your typical chunky ingredients. It's more like an avocado cream. It seems that the cuisine is more adapted to please a German/American palate rather than offering real Mexican food. Given the location I understand that. Overall for Germany a great improvement on Mexican cuisine in Germany.

They have specials daily and an assortment of regular soups. They even have a vegan option. The lady was so nice and patient. This was wonderful because I don't speak a word of German. She translated the menu for me and answered all my questions. She also gave me bread for my infant to distract her while I ate. Hehe. I had the Wednesday special. I didn't catch the name of the soup. Champion soup or something. It was creamy soup with mushrooms, carrots, other veggies. The bread dumplings were heavenly. Overall, it was perfect in the cold November weather. Other notes: it's super small inside. Leave your strollers outside. No infant chairs available. Also they are only open from 11:30 to 3pm. Not sure of the days.
