This café's name doesn't exactly have the best pun out there (I'm not sure if they even tried), but don't judge a book by its cover. Kaffe Caffe's quaint interior makes you feel like staying in the student center of a fancy university. It's very warm and cozy; not too bright and not too quiet either. The prices of their items are quite cheap, in comparison to the more popular coffee and tea places out there, which make this spot an ideal study area for students. When I came here to work while waiting for my car wash to finish, I ordered a brownie from their display with a Caramel Mocha to match. I quite enjoyed the brownie, as it wasn't too sweet, and complemented the taste of the mocha very well.
Although Kaffe Caffe is located in a very prominent area, there aren't that many people that frequent this place, probably because they prefer the more famous chains. I like keeping this place as quiet and low-key as it is, because it serves as a nice get away from the urban life (especially Banawe St. on a Saturday). read more
