My daughter loves this school. She is in kindergarten and she loves her teacher Mrs Gail,she's very awesone she actually pretty much loves all the teachers/staffs in KACC preschool. They are all nice and sweet to the children. Ms Christina (TK teacher) is also awesome! The place is always clean and safe. They have lots of activities for children. Super friendly school. Also staffs will pray for you if you request for it. Very supportive people! I will always be grateful that i have found this school for my unica ija. I attend Knott Avenue Christian Church and learned about the preschool from advertisement on campus. When dropping off our daughter (The Girl) for Sunday school programs, I noticed the classrooms always appeared inviting, clean, and colorful. I knew the children would be receiving a quality preschool education in a loving environment. My friend has a son the same age as The Girl. He was very quiet and rambunctious. She needed to find more affordable child care and remembered KACC Preschool. She had an easy time with enrollment mid session and the teachers worked with him. He started recognizing the importance of social behavior and began speaking more. When it was time to enroll The Girl in preschool, we researched many other private preschools. We found KACC Preschool offered the best experience and was the most affordable (around $500/month). The school offered Five Day programs, Tuesday/Thursday programs, or Monday/Wednesday/Friday programs. They also offer core session 9am-12pm or full day (early drop off at 7am and pick up as late as 6pm). I'm surprised that I don't already have a review for KACC. I just remembered after researching local preschool in the area we moved to. Looking for an enriching, engaging, and safe environment to entrust your little ones too is so stressful. When I first was introduced to KACC I trusted a girlfriend who had her daughter and other family in the program. I completely trusted her judgement because she is super TYPE A and wouldn't just let any random influence on her kid. Honestly, do all you research look at all the schools you want... but trust your gut. I personally knew from the first time I met Ms. April (the director) that KACC was going to be the right place for my girls. When I went in for a tour we did all the basic tour stuff, look at the class, playground, yada yada. When we went back to her office and started talking I opened up to her about some challenges we were experiencing as a family and my concern for the affect it was having on my girls. Needless to say I was in tears... but I didn't feel any judgement. I felt like Ms. April was just one mom providing support to another going through a hard time. It was never weird after, i mean yes i was a bit embarrassed, but April actually took the time to check in with a me a few weeks later. HONESTLY... there are so many amazing things to say about this school. I started off with my eldest daughter first. I enrolled her when she was about 3 and I could see her growth within weeks. She's a shy girl, but the love and nurturing that ALL staff give to the students shows in so many ways. My shy girl grew confident and loved going to school. A year later I enrolled my youngest, by that time she was beyond ready to go to school after watching me drop off her sister every day for the past year. She's my wild child and barely glanced back at me when I dropped her off the first day. But I really think it is a testament to the welcoming environment KACC provides. Before my youngest daughter even started school the teachers knew her name and looked forward to having her start. The strides that she made once she started were amazing. I could hear and see in our daily interactions how much she was learning. I always felt welcome and looked forward to dropping my girls off. OHHH let's not forget the safety precautions they have. You have to be buzzed in to enter the building and EVERY person that enters the preschool immediately comes in contact with a staff member. So there aren't just people walking in going wherever. (I say this because this is my biggest issue with our current preschool). Longest Review EVER.. but well worth it. Again... do you research but really TRUST your intuition. You know your children better than anyone. If I could lift KACC along with the staff and plop them right down in Corona I would. One of the most important aspects in preschool is getting students acclimated to attending school as well as socialization. KACC does such an amazing job of blending those key elements with the academics piece. I will forever be grateful for the love KACC showed by girls. They still talk about their teachers (Ms. Jann, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Joliza, and Ms. Camille) and ask if they can go for a visit. I could go on and on.. but my work day is now over. read more

We love this preschool. Everyone that works there is so friendly and loving to our son. They do a lot of extra fun things for the kids. The tuition is super reasonable. Wish I would have known about it with our oldest son, but so happy we found them! read more

KACC is amazing! Our daughter was "that kid" who cried every morning when she first started.. except it lasted for almost an entire year! However, they were so understanding, supportive, and patient with her. And now our daughter loves school so much and won't stop talking about the staff and all of her friends! Before choosing a preschool, I must admit, I did some extensive "type A" research on the schools in the area. This is probably due to the fact that I have three boys, all under kindergarten age, and did not want the hassle of transferring schools if I did not like something. After visiting and meeting with many schools, I determined that KACC preschool was the best preschool for me and my boys for various reasons. For your benefit, I compiled the top three reasons I love this school: (1) The teachers and staff are truly wonderful. Mrs. Garcia, the principal, really listens to us parents. She has gone out of her way, at times, to address or at least follow up on any request and/or concern I have. Plus, all the teachers truly care for the individual well-being of their students. It just shows through the school's culture. The kids are very happy there. Mrs. Boisvert, the teacher for the four year olds, creates fun and unique activities to effectively teach her students. My son always comes home excited and ready for his next school day and I believe its due to her efforts. Mrs. Nonny, the teacher for 3 year olds, is patient, kind and very informative. Since she teaches younger kids, I appreciate how she keeps me in the loop as much as possible. (2) The tuition is very affordable for the quality of service. There are different programs and schedules depending on how much you want your children involved and how much you want to pay. And finally (3), There is a heavy Christ-centered curriculum. It's a beautiful thing when your kids come home loving God more and more every day. I know it's ultimately my responsibility, as parent, to teach my children about God, but it sure is nice to know that the school I choose doesn't hinder that progress. Me and my husband visited this place in November 2017 and we met the manager, she said we don't have any openings in this time but we will have in April 2018 , she wrote our phone number to call us later but they never did. I made another visit in April but this time my child was with me. She was outdoor with kids doing orientation with firefighters engine . She was so rude to me and told me to stand out the lines of the shade that kids where sitting. Me and my little one were standing under the sun waiting for her to come to us to meet for third time, I left after 15 min under the sun.I didn't met any of her staff so I can't say anything about the care there. My son comes here and LOVES it. He is now in kinder and has had an amazing experience. From starting off with miss besty, transitioning to miss melinda, he is now with miss Gail( whom he absolutely adores). The staff is absolutely AMAZING and they treat the kids like their own. There is no better feeling then to drop your child off knowing they will be in great care. From the projects my son brings home to the bible versus he recites and applies I know he learning more than just his abc's, but he's developing good character. I cannot stress enough how much my family loves this school, it's always a treat to share the warm atmosphere and invite them to the seasonal events held for the preschool. Also like how the police officers routinely sit and write their reports in the parking lot, it gives me some peace of mind. Lastly, the school is pretty monitored and you have to ring a door bell and have a staff member open it to enter, so no one can just walk right on in, plus there is security who do a good job with monitoring the parking lot and campus, making sure no one is just wandering around read more

If I could give this place ZERO STARS, I would. I had attended this church off and on, since I was 19 years old and I'm almost 40, visited as a very young child, baptized there, witnessed 3 different senior pastors, changes in worship leaders, etc. Ive lived on this block my entire life, and I can't even look at this place when I drive by because of my experience with April Garcia (the director and one of the pastor's wife) and some of the preschool staff. I once overheard the director tell another staff member "IT'S FUNNY when parents get mad. At least it's not happening to my children." The laughs that came after the comment sounded SO DEMONIC!! I was in another room, so when I opened the door, I should have confronted her, as the bible instructs, but instead, I was in shock and they were too! I just kept quiet, which was a mistake, because I should have removed my child immediately. My child ended up having about 15 bruises on her shins. My child told me there was a boy kicking her, so I asked the director to advise and alert the teacher. Instead of the director telling the teacher to watch my child, my child was asked to leave. Was I concerned because my child had bruises from another child and demanded that it stop? Yes! But again, from the previous comments, the director stated that she thinks it's funny when parents are upset or concerned for their child. The director appears to be an angel, but I saw her true colors. In my opinion, it's the reason my child was asked to leave. In hindsight, it was prob the best decision, because my child will no longer have a boy kick her. In addition, the mornings around 7:30 to 8:00 appear understaffed. I saw the children hitting each other and playing roughly in the small drop off trailer. I saw 2 teachers aides sitting there and not engaging the kids. I even saw them separate the pastors/decons children, so their kids aren't in the mess. It should have been a sign when I saw them separate children and only protecting the church staff's children. I can also remember my child being scared to go in the trailer in the morning, which should have been another sign... It appeared the teacher that my child had didn't know how to redirect. It was just "No" and "Time out." The director defended her staff and told me that God commands us to obey, but I brought it to her attention that these are small children, in the bible there is an age of accountability. Their attention or bad behavior should be redirected to something that would enforce positive behavior. For example, throwing sand, say "We don't throw sand, here's a bucket and toys to make a wonderful castle." Unfortunately, in my opinion, many people will be fooled, as I was. I figured, it's a church, so people should act accordingly. WRONG!! It appears, that some people who attend church, are that one's who probably need it the MOST! I will pray for these people who allowed my child to experience this. Also, in my opinion, the teachers run the director and she allows it to keep her status up as one of the pastor's wife (her and her husband could easily be voted out), but it should be the opposite, the director should be running the staff to ensure the children's safety!! ZERO STARS!! This place used to be my home, but after my experience with director/the pastor's wife, and by what she did to me and my child, by making it seem like I was the problem to everyone, when my child came home with bruises, I no longer have a place to worship the Lord on this Sunday morning. It appears, that they could care less about me needing to find a new home, after a lifetime of worshiping at this church. ZERO STARS--ZERO STARS!! read more

This school is such a God loving school. All the staff are always so friendly and caring. It's honestly the best investment I have made because I see my son learning so much. When he first started coming last year he was speech delayed, but not anymore because he is saying about 400+ words. Every time I pick him up, he tells me about his day: chapel, music, colors, numbers, etc etc. I also love that the class ratios are small because he has a lot of one and one. When I first started looking for a preschool for my 3 year old, a friend of mine from work suggested KACC. The first thing I fell in love with was how colorful the place was. Liz did great giving us a tour and showing us which class would be for my son. He has learned so much and because so much more social in the past year. We love my 3 year old's school! Every staff member is so kind and passionate about all the kids they care for. My daughter enjoys going to chapel on Mondays and their music and dance class. They are always planning fun activities for them and my daughter has learned so much while having fun with all her friends. So blessed that these people take care of our little one. read more

My son has been going to Knott Avenue Christian preschool for two years now and we are sending him back for Kindergarten next year. He is safe and loved which is super important to me. I love the small class sizes and open communication with all the staff which is done by phone or through class dojo. I honestly can not say anything bad about this place!! My daughter used to go here, and my son now attends. Every single one of their staff members are amazing, you can really tell they love children and want the best for them. It took me a while to find a preschool that I could trust to take care of my babies. April the director is seriously an angel, she is ALWAYS available to speak with whenever I have a challenge or question. She is always willing to work with my difficult schedules and is always open to help. I am so blessed that I found this school. The teachers all seem to have a passion for children and for education. I am so happy to be able to send my son to this school without having to stress about his experience. My daughter attended Knott Avenue Christian preschool last year. We LOVED it! She loves her teacher. She learned so much. And she was always exhausted when I picked her up! They have a lunch option for a few extra dollars pack them a lunch and they can stay longer, for those days you have a few extra errands to run. Cannot say enough great things! read more

My kids attended KACC preschool this year and it was such a positive experience for them. We were so blessed to have such wonderful teachers, Miss Jann and Miss Cristina who were so patient with our shy girls. We had such an amazing experience here and would definitely recommend. We totally love this little preschool. We have five children and our last little is enrolled now. It is so nice to find a preschool that is not a glorified daycare center but instead is so nurturing and at the same time engaging the kids in active learning. Our girls have so many memories at this school and we are enjoying making more with our preschool family.
