Instead, she knows Ms. G cares about her. It's also clear that Ms. G has built a positive and supportive relationship with her staff, and I believe that says a lot about the culture of the school. When leadership truly cares about the staff, it creates a positive environment for everyone. The teachers have been amazing. They were so patient with us as first-time preschool parents, whether we were figuring out what to pack for lunch, navigating potty accidents, or adjusting to a new routine. Every teacher has taken the time to build a relationship with my daughter, not just her classroom teachers. They truly go above and beyond with the activities, holiday celebrations, and special events they plan throughout the year. I also really value the parent conferences. The teacher (Ms.Anne) has help us understand how our daughter is progressing and give us practical ways to continue supporting her learning and development at home. This review is long overdue, as our family is coming up on the end of our time at LLP after 4…read morewonderful years and two children later. We came to LLP per word of mouth from a friend who was about to enroll their child as a student. I found out there were about 3 families from our church that were all sending their children here, and my son was at another preschool at the time. We made the switch because of the families, and at the time my son was a bit speech delayed- after touring here I felt strongly that he would thrive here, and he did! We enrolled him during summer session as a 2 year old, and he stayed all the way until he was 4 and it was time to go to TK in the fall. He ended his full time enrollment while being in the Tigers class, which is the 4yo class before being in official TK, and through the love and care of all the teachers here, he was beyond ready for public school TK. You would never have known this kid was speech delayed by the time he went to public school. His public school TK teacher had said during back to school night that my son was helping other children roll up their blankets for nap time, and I fully give credit to his time at LLP! While my first son ended his time at LLP, my 2nd son was able to enroll as soon as he turned 2 just as my first son was off to TK, so it was so sweet to have back to back enrollment with the teachers already being familiar with little brother. The 2nd child's enrollment at LLP were reminders of how quick time flies, because by the time he was enrolled I knew all the annual events that occur such as the thanksgiving potluck, the Christmas program, drive-in movie day, and pedal to the medal- all of which I truly made sure he participated and I was present for. My first son was able to return to LLP for the last two summers, and now My 2nd son is about to go to TK, and both of them as well as me will terribly miss our time. My 2nd son has thrived in his own way, he was the shy kid that wouldn't smile when he first came but over time he became smilier and galloped into the class every morning. There's definitely been a lot of changes in 4 years, some teachers and staff have come and gone, but I can say the care of each child has still remained all along! They will take safety seriously and communicate well with all parents. They will encourage each child to be independent especially when potty training- and trust me both my sons had their moments of learning how to be restroom independent that I give credit to their consistency at LLP. Many basic everyday life skills will be learned, and I definitely encourage the consistency! We hope to return for summer session if enrollment availability is there! If you're on the fence but have made it this far in the review, please give the director a call or email and you won't regret it. From the start, I knew exactly what I was looking for in a preschool. I had previously worked in preschools and in admissions at a Pre-K through 8th grade private school in Saratoga, I had strong opinions about what kind of environment I wanted for my own children. My top priorities were: strong leadership, small class ratios, and teacher retention. When I toured Stepping Stones, I knew immediately that this was the right place. Ms. Jenny, the Assistant Director, is fantastic--bubbly, professional, and genuinely invested. Whether she's greeting families at the door, supporting teachers in the classroom, decorating, or prepping for the next event, she's fully present and hands-on. Her leadership sets the tone for the whole school, creating a warm, welcoming, and well-run environment. One of my favorite things about the program is the 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio in both the 3-year-old and 4-year-old classes. It's not a model where one teacher manages a large group with just an aide--it's truly one teacher to twelve students. The classrooms are designed for this more intimate setting, which allows teachers to get to know their students deeply. (Bonus: you only have to buy 12 party favors instead of 24! ) Teacher retention is another strong point. You can tell the staff love working here. Former teachers and substitutes often return, and there's a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. I frequently saw teachers sharing ideas, helping one another, and going above and beyond to support their students and colleagues. Communication with the school is also seamless, thanks to the Learning Management System they use. Teachers and staff regularly post photos, share weekly updates, and send messages through it, which keeps parents in the loop in such a meaningful way. I also want to give special thanks to two teachers who made a big impact on our family: Ms. Karina has a warm and calming presence that made a world of difference for my son, especially during a time of big changes at home. He was still adjusting to having a new sibling, and mornings could be tough and emotional. Ms. Karina met him each day with such patience and gentle reassurance--her kind words, soft tone, and steady presence helped him feel safe and understood. She provided the comfort and consistency he needed, making his transition into the classroom so much smoother. We're incredibly grateful for the care and support she offered during that tender time. Ms. Nayeli helped provide him with the independence he needed to gain confidence in himself. Her encouragement, structure, and thoughtful approach created an environment for him to explore, take initiative, and thrive. If you're considering Stepping Stones, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The leadership, classroom structure, and loving teachers make it a truly special place.

The building isn't all that old so I know the facilities are nice for the kids. All the children seem to be having a great time and the playground space seems ample and comfy. There is a buzzer and keypad to ensure security and proper access. The first time I went to pick up my babies, they asked me, "who are you?" They know I'm not the mom and dad. All good signs to begin with. With the American school system being so obsolete and becoming less innovative than other countries, you MUST offer extra education on the side to help your kids compete in the future. Honestly, my sister is an elementary school teacher and she still sends her kids to a place like this. Don't get me wrong, these places aren't cheap. I'm talking about $750 to $1000 a month, per kid. Now I know I'm in the wrong business. Still, when you have peace of mind with PM day care and knowing that your kids are learning more than the average American kid, you'll want to spend less on yourself, and save more for their future. Being an adult means making sacrifices, right? Always a get a great feeling when I leave this venue. And it's not because this place reminds me of that old Monkees song, "I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone."
