The accountant let things sit for many weeks and approached the needed approval with the speed of a sloth. The accountant turned a great experience into an unexpectedly disappointing experience. Because of the accountant, I would never recommend this company or use them again. I wish I'd looked up the yelp reviews before I used them. As a follow up: The taxes have now sat for review an additional 2 weeks: ridiculous. It was a mistake to use Scholl & Company.

Not only did my initial meeting inspire me to take business finances more seriously, but he gave me a clear picture of why I need to that made sense to me. It was the first time I've ever genuinely enjoyed myself in any financially-related meeting. His team is top-notch and the office strikes a great balance of being welcoming and extremely professional. I'm ending my first year using their help and with this tax season's meeting I knew exactly how much I'd saved by planning and had my year end info ready to roll for the bonding company earlier than ever. Everyone was great. As for fees, they are not cheap but I got way more than what I'd pay for, not to mention the stress reduction.

After a few weeks, we had our meeting via Zoom (pandemic), and I have to say that he was very thorough, extremely informative, and is really knowledgable about tax laws. I would highly recommend Travis.

For a number of reasons, our taxes as a married couple filing jointly are complicated, and the charges have never been more than absolutely fair. The advice Mike has given us over the years has been invaluable. We trust him down to our cores. He has become a true friend. He has supported us in times of family tragedy and celebrated with us in the happy times, both personal and financial. He is funny, caring, compassionate, and an excellent accountant! The office staff has always been responsive and courteous, down to an individual. On the investing side, we couldn't be happier. Suffice it to say that even in the 2008 and recent downturns, we have had complete confidence, which I'll add has proven to be well-founded. Scott and Brandon take excellent care of us. They are patient, but realistic about our investing needs as we get nearer to retirement age. They care about us, even though we're not high rollers, and give us time and attention as if we were. I'm sorry to read that Bob and Peter had bad experiences. All I can say is that their stories are completely foreign to anything we have ever encountered at Hayashi and Wayland.

Some 20 years ago, living in Pacific Grove, I used Turbo Tax on my computer and ending up having to pay $2,000 to the IRS.
