A CPA can't just lay hands on you, and know your business, your personal finances, and all the deductions available to you. Finding a good accountant should be like finding a good doctor. You need to decide what issues are important to you such as how you contact each other, their staff, preventive care, and education. Then, you need to formulate questions, and interview the professionals. Do you get along with this person? Can you tell this person anything? Do you feel like they'll keep you out of federal prison? If you answer yes to all three questions, hire that professional!
Michael is a consummate professional. He lets me call him whenever I need him. He takes time to educate me in a non-patronizing manner. He laughs with and at me. He makes suggestions to make my accounting easier, and in turn, I take those suggestions with the hopes that my bill will go down! ;-) He does my work personally. He doesn't farm out his accounts to assistants. This means that when I look at my returns, they match the figures I provided him!
I unreservedly recommend him and anyone in his employ! He's a great guy with great staff! read more
