However, from overall experience, it's not likely we will visit any of the locations again since there are others in the area that seem to be overall better experience. Atmosphere wise much of the facility felt dated and poorly maintained. The floor was painted, and flood and walls had noticeable chipped paint. The tables consisted primarily of plastic picnic tables, and the lockers and wall finishes appeared to be made from basic plywood materials. The décor felt mismatched and out of place, with little cohesive theme or atmosphere. Lighting throughout the facility was less-than. Overall it felt very thrown together and minimally up-kept . The overall space felt smaller than expected as well. There did not appear to be any dedicated party rooms or private event spaces, which limits options for hosting birthdays or group events, although not entirely within the control of the business itself, just more of an aside. I did not use the restroom, so I cannot comment on its condition. The food service was particularly disappointing. If you plan to be here during meal times, I would recommend planning ahead, especially on a weeknight. The kitchen did not appear to be fully operational or adequately stocked, and the food quality was below what I would expect from even a typical convenience store. I hate to say as it seems mean, but it's really an honest comparison based on what I saw. Also, food items that were ordered were forgotten, and employees appeared to be trying to locate supplies and determine how to prepare certain menu items or we're focusing on other things entirely. The soda I ordered was clearly not monitored for replacement and was soda water with a hit of syrup. I observed another customer order mozzarella sticks and receive a small cardboard tray that was nearly filled with marinara sauce, which was wasteful at best. My overall impression gave me the feeling that the facility is being operated at the lowest possible cost point. While the skating itself seemed enjoyable for the kids, the lack of investment in the facility, food service, and event accommodations seems likely to limit repeat visits, food sales, and party bookings. There appears to be significant untapped potential if more attention were given to maintenance, presentation, and customer experience. Not sure the market supports the idea of further investment but there seems to be a lot left to want here from a consumer perspective.

Our last two family vacations we'd come across places that let small children play for free and since our 5 year old now expects to come too, we had to find a family friendly one. This is by far the most new to escape room friendly place we have ever been to (but still fun for seasoned players too!) Laura was amazing. Our son likes to put on a show and acted like he was the seasoned pro, even though the other places he'd been too with us he'd really just gotten to hang out in the room with us and their wasn't much to do. Before we started, she took the time to show him every type of lock we'd encounter in the room and gave super kid friendly and engaging instructions on how to do them. So this is the first time he really got to truly play with us. There was also plenty in the room that he was able to help find and place in their designated spots to solve puzzles. We will definitely have to check out their other rooms next time we're in the area. Laura really sets the bar for game masters. She is just so welcoming and friendly.

Kevin led us through the trail and he was very informative, friendly, and easy going. The trails were very pretty and we did see a cow right on the trail. As for the horses, they were healthy, and seemed quite happy to chug along through the trail. We had never been horseback riding before so Kevin was very patient in getting us started. We had a terrific time and would definitely do this again. We recommend Shenandoah Stables to anyone looking to go horseback riding at a very reasonable expense ($35 per person for a 45 minute ride).

The horses were well taken care of and the setting is just incredible. Lazy Oak trees gently cascade over the land, shading the horses and riders on a warm day. We lucked out with a breezy day. My husband's last time on a horse was over 20 years ago at a terrible ranch where his horse took off on his first ride ever. Elaine asked about our experience and when we shared this, she made sure all the horses were good for 3 of us. I asked for one a little spicier and got to ride sassy Lady, a beautiful young thoroughbred-mix. I appreciated the care they took in assessing what would work for us. It's a very casual set-up which was just right for us. The trail is through their beautiful wooded acreage. It was extremely relaxing and a perfect first-time experience for our teens. First time "escape room" player and I was super confused and disappointed with it. I've heard stories of clues unlocking new doors into a new set of puzzles, secret walls opening up, actual puzzles to solve, etc. But this was a room, with numbers and words all over it, and you had to figure out what numbers and words went to which of the 11 padlocks...nothing else. Staff was super friendly, nice, and accommodating. The room was full of super hero props (non of which were part of the mystery or plot lol). The after picture was the coolest part of the night. These small single room "escapes" might be fun for a group of 2-4 people, but for a large $200 party their should be some adventures and riddles involved. Will not come back here to this one, but I'll try another one. As the people we went with talked about other adventures they'd done in Daytona that were much more involved and fun.
