I have to admit this was a fun experience. My husband, adult son and I went on a Saturday around 12-1 pm and there was no wait. The staff were very nice and helpful as we had never been here before. I was a little nervous (I'm a 60 year old woman) but the staff and even another customer assured me it would be fun. They advised that I stay to the right of the track if I was slower than the other racers, which I was and which I did. I laughed the whole time. It was a blast and I would definitely do it again. My son, who is early 20's loved it too. The track was fun and well designed and the go-karts were in good working order. The reason for the 4 stars is that it's expensive. It ended up costing about $60 each for 2 races. Overall I would recommend this for adults and older teens. Some drives do get a bit aggressive on the track so I think it's better for more experienced drivers and not younger teens who don't even have their driving license yet.

Pretty expensive to race. My son, husband and friend participated while I was a spectator. They ended up in a group of 10 and some pretty aggressive drivers who outlapped my 14 year old many times who had never done this. To charge so much and only get 8 laps in when the aggressive more experienced people got 12 is not worth it. Initially, we were there by ourselves, but a group of 7 walked in right before the other race was finishing so was able to join my family on the track and I personally do not feel it was a fair way to treat customers paying almost $75 each for a race.

Kids had an amazing time but....the guy behind the counter needs to learn how to be a little nicer, even when the customer is wrong.

Daytona Beach didn't just stumble into its ranking as the #4 city for nightlife on the planet--it earned it through the sheer, electric legacy of spots like Timmy T's. This isn't just a nightclub; it's a legendary MTV-era cathedral of sound and light where the "Daytona Dream" was born. But look closer. Beyond the 50,000 watts of bass and the ocean-view VIP decks, there is a new frequency vibrating through the salt air. In a city where the sun never sets on the party, the Daytona Dream Center is proving that the "girls of the nightlife" aren't just part of the scene--they are the scene's greatest untapped potential. The Vibe: Imagine the raw, unfiltered energy of 90s MTV Spring Break fused with a modern, high-glamour sanctuary. Timmy T (the visionary Chudkosky himself) hasn't just preserved a club; he's curated an atmosphere of "Atmospheric Alchemy." It's where the music meets the soul. The Inspiration: For every woman navigating the neon-lit corridors of the world's elite party district, the message is clear: Your lifestyle is a masterpiece in progress. Supported by the heart-centered mission of the Daytona Dream Center, the nights at Timmy T's are no longer just about the dance floor--they're about the rise. This is where the elite converge, not just to lose themselves, but to find a higher version of their own story. In the #4 nightlife city in the world, the brightest lights aren't on the stage; they're the women who turn the nightlife into a lifestyle of power, purpose, and transformation. The Verdict: If you haven't experienced the "transcendent frequency" of Timmy T's, you haven't seen Daytona. Come for the legend, stay for the evolution.

The wedding was beautiful. We had approx 120 guests (seated) using the boathouse and tent (with walls) and there was enough room for everyone and an area for a dance floor (this was actually my biggest concern when booking this venue because it appears to be on the small side). The boathouse has a new beautiful pier/dock and many of my guests were able to watch a pod of dolphins swim around (got some great pics of them) along with a super nice sunset. The only thing I would have done differently is that I would have hired golf cart drivers so that the elderly guests wouldn't have had to walk so far from the ceremony site and parking lot (no biggy, we used a car). Had no issues with neighbors, in fact some of the neighbors sat on the porch to watch the ceremony, which I thought was really cool. The neighborhood does have a curfew of 11pm, so our reception ended at 9:30pm. I was okay with this because I was actually pretty tired by then. A huge plus is that the boathouse is available at 8:00am. So we were able to begin decorating early. I couldn't have been happier with The historic Wilbur Boathouse!

The woman at the entrance was kind and helpful, though she spoke so softly my ADHD brain had to lean in like a detective--but her directions were spot on. Inside the main building, the art from Cuba was the star for me--bold, vibrant, full of life. Some of my absolute favorites were in the Cuban art section--each piece felt like it was humming with its own frequency. The geometric painting (the one drenched in deep reds, burnt oranges, and that sharp black hourglass shape) hit me first. It's bold, mathematical, yet somehow spiritual--like a coded message meant for anyone perceptive enough to catch it. Very "guardian-spirit-meets-mid-century-modern." I stood there longer than I expected. The giant ancient sloth? Unreal. I wish they'd place a modern-day sloth beside it, just so my brain could process the scale without glitching. The bug/kids section was unexpectedly adorable. The kids were living their best lives, and honestly, I was right there with them--zero shame. I did drive over to the second building for the "It's a Ship Show" exhibit, and okay... I see what they did with the title. At first glance I read it as "It's a Sht* Show," and for a split second I thought MOAS got sassy. The artwork leaned heavily into still life, and to me it felt more like pieces you'd find in an upscale lounge, a refined boutique hotel, or a polished restaurant--visually pleasing but not as emotionally stirring as the main gallery. Just my personal taste. I could've spent more time wandering around, but I was on a first date with someone who kept making me laugh. I felt like the loud kid in class trying to stay quiet in a museum. Overall, great value, memorable art, and a surprisingly fun atmosphere. I'd definitely go again--preferably when I'm not giggling through every exhibit.

4.5 stars for one of my favorite public golf courses in the Central Florida area…read more I was visiting Titusville a few years ago when a buddy recommended that head up the road and check out the Jones Course at LPGA International in Daytona. I hadn't really heard of the course before, but the afternoon prices were pretty reasonable and the Golfpass reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. I arrived at the venue, which is more like a community, about an hour early. One of the more-discussed issues with this course is that they can run out of golf carts, so I went up to grab a cart early to make sure I didn't run into any problems. I then went into the beautiful interior with the pro shop overlooking the course and a gigantic restaurant (with an awesome patio) next door. I checked in for my round, bought a ball bucket token, and headed out. While I wasn't thrilled that the range balls weren't included with the round, the price was cheap and my wife and I received plenty of range balls to hit. The range is grass (huge plus) and pretty spread out so that you don't have to be too close to people. The putting and chipping areas are also quite large, so we were able to warm up just fine. The reason this course is one of my favorites in Central Florida is it is kept in great condition for a public course. I've always found the greens to roll fast and true, while the various hole setups are interesting enough to keep your attention without being too challenging to play with my wife and other friend. The course can get a little packed, but the pace generally moves well enough that we get done in 3-4 hours (which compared to other public courses is really fast). Overall, LPGA International provides a great public golf course experience. If you are looking to try out a nice golf course in Central Florida without the nice course prices, you should definitely give this spot a look.

You can buy balls at the range but sometimes the credit card part isn't working. So I'd recommend purchasing a code at the shop. You can't pay online for your tee time, so you gotta stop in the shop anyways. The guys working the bag drop off are slow to say hi and welcome you. Gone are the days when they run up to your car and help. Pretty much put my own bag on the cart before he came over. The course itself is beautiful. Lots of sand and water. The greens are super fast. When it's not busy, you can do 18 in 3.5 hours. There are bathrooms along the course and a cart girl. I'd say other courses have more service throughout, like water coolers, ball washing stations, etc. The bar and restaurant are closed, as well as the little bar along the course, for coronavirus. The pro shop has the usual stuff, and there's a bathroom there. Carts don't have the electronic mapping or scoring. The score card doesn't have a map or visual of each hole because the other course score card is on the back. So pay attention to the signage when you reach the first tee box to get a sense of the layout of the hole. A lot of long holes. Didn't lose too many balls on the hills course vs the jones course. It's a fun course but I'd say Disney courses are much better for the same price.
