Mike and Tricia have read and gained wisdom from the professionals on how you can adjust the sweetness of the tomatoes, which I was dumbfounded and never knew that you could tweak a tomato. This is a business that involves all of the ohana and is done so with passion and a commitment towards quality. Mike and Tricia have a heart to share their knowledge and wisdom with other farmers as well, to build them up and see them become fruitful. There is a push towards bringing the community together and truly getting to know your neighbors. They have gone out of their way to share what they have with others, those who can afford it and to those who have run into hard times. I wish everyone could try their tomatoes, then you'd know what I am talking about, and draw your own conclusion, to this heavenly fruit (I still consider it a vegetable, no matter what). I live on Oahu and so anytime I visit Kona, I make sure I stop at the local open market in Kamuela to buy these. When you go look for the Wow Farm sign and their red palaka shirts, strike up a conversation and enjoy buying some of these delicate treasures.
