HOMEOWNER BEWARE!! JPS walked off the project and has not returned any of the stolen money!…read more JPS started a covered front porch addition and garage expansion for our family in December 2021. There were issues along the way that we worked through, but in March and April when we started pressing on why things were taking so long (the front porch was supposed to take 3 weeks), they packed up their stuff, took our supplies (limited because they really had not bought what they said they did) and walked off the job on May 17th, 2022 and sent change orders that were never discussed prior to receiving. They said in order to continue work that we would have to agree to the additional $16,000 of change orders, which we were blind-sided with. It is 14 weeks later and they have not returned or been forthcoming with a resolution. We have found many issues with they work that was completed, which was only the partial front porch, such as not following the plans and using a beam that was not structurally sound to save them money, to not attaching the roof to the house properly to not installing the railings to code, and more. So we are left out of tens of thousands of dollars, with a half completed and structurally unsound front porch and no garage expansion. Yet we paid 78% of the original contract and do not even have 50% of the project completed. Taking out the garage we are 131% overpaid on this project Jason and Jamie have proven themselves to be untrustworthy, unethical and criminal in this matter. JPS is a completely disgraceful company who is completely comfortable robbing their customers of tens of thousands of dollars.

We were LUCKY to have found him!! He's done my carport roof, my entire house siding(and he suggested a style that WE LOVE!!) and carport siding, and my deck. All projects were done to code and is very structurally sound! We wanted a house that is like no other in the neighborhood and I think we accomplished that!! Our house is on his website, I believe! I am pleased with the finished work. And his estimates are pretty much the average for the area. I am NOT the easiest home owner and Phil takes ALOT OF MY HUMOR and attempts at bartering at heart. I would use Phil and Dynamic for ANY, AND ALL, PROJECTS!!

A friend referred me to HG Handyman Services as they had just done a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation for him and had a great experience. I called, the phone was answered on the 2nd ring and Henry, the owner was at my business within 2 hours to give me a free quote. It was evident that Henry was knowledgeable and a great fit for what I was looking for (guest bathroom flooring, new baseboards, new toilet, new vanity, new drywall, fresh paint). I was emailed a quote 4 hours later and scheduled to have to work done while my business was closed for vacation last week. I trusted Henry with keys to my business and let him know I'd be out of the country with family but he could come and go as he pleased as long as the work was finished by this past Monday. I was blown away that he texted me updates with photos of the work every day which left me at ease and had the work done much faster than expected. The work is beyond perfect in every way and my business was cleaner than when I left. In addition, he noticed a floor board in the front of my business that was coming up on one side.. he called it a tripping hazard and fixed it for free. He also adjusted my bathroom door as the door was rubbing when trying to shut and he wanted to make sure it was fixed. The best part of this experience was the pricing... I ended up paying just a tad more than the remaining 50% I was planning on paying the other contractor because HG was so reasonable. Needless to say my house will be worked on next and I'll be using HG Handyman Services again!

Their pricing was very fair and competitive! They offered the GAF roofing system that provided what we needed without over selling the job. I had the pleasure today working with their foreman, James, and a fantastic subcontracted crew that tackled what initially started out rather straight forward but the original plywood substrate from the 1970's was in really bad shape - they replaced all of the needed plywood without issue and gave us a fantastic finished product and they left the house and grounds better than they found it! I'm completely satisfied and would highly recommend them for a roof replacement! Adam then followed up with meeting their gutter crew the following week and because I was not able to meet them, he FaceTimed with me so that I was able go over the scope of the project with their crew foreman and get my questions answered before work started! I was able to get down on the weekend to check out the completed project / they did a Fantastic Job with the installation. They were able to hide the mounting screws for the downspout straps and even filled the holes in the siding where the old straps were attached with color matched pop-rivets. They also did a much better job with the downspouts where they entered the drain pipes! This attention to detail made the whole project look Fantastic! Thanks for having such professional installation crews working with your company! We are totally satisfied with both the new roof and the new gutter / gutter guard installation! Thanks for a great job - your company truly delivered on all of your promises!!!
