On March 20, 2026 I purchased a new battery for my car at Costco and brought it home. A helpful person who had come to give me a painting estimate, offered to help install the battery, and did so. Later I tried to start the car, and it wouldn't make a sound. I had no way to get my 2006 Lexus into the dealership to find out what was wrong. I called my insurance company and they put a request out for me. Kotowing Company said he could come soon, and he did. He put battery testors on the battery several times! He said the battery had power but something else must be wrong. I consented to the tow and he took it to my dealer. The Lexus dealer service department sent me a picture of my battery which CLEARLY showed the black plastic cap on one pole of the battery had not been taken off!!! They couldn't believe it someone towed it in! The tow driver SURELY noticed this, but chose to not tell me; and just take off the black plastic cap. He towed the car to my dealer when it didn't need it!! This is fraud, taking advantage of a 76 yr. old woman. read more

What this company is lacking in class and respect for their clients (specifically women), they make up for in disrespect and poor service. The owner Kent Miller is extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and does not hold his employees or company accountable for their poor service. My company contacted KO Towing several times to tow a vehicle off of the property; each encounter was a horrible experience. Between driver's never showing, to driver's showing and for unknown reasons (no call to inform why either), not towing the vehicle, to the unapologetic, sexist, disrespect from the owner- KO Towing is the worst in the business. Never ever use this company. I am disabled with a Traumatic Brain Injury and my car was towed illegally. The staff at the lot was rude and could care less that I was suffering a seizure event and all my medicine was in my car. The fact that they only take cash is such a bad way to do business because nobody walks around with $200 in cash. Run as fast as you can from this terrible company....and they damaged my car on top of everything. They are only about ripping people off ad have zero compassion for people that suffer from life changing disabilities and are financially wrecked by my ongoing struggles that this injury causes. These guys helped me in a really bad spot. I blew 2 tires and had to leave my car at a gas station over night. When I showed up the next day, the owner of that station called ko to have me impounded. Fortunately, I got back to the station before ko showed up. I talked to the manager and he agreed to tow me to the mechanic for a small fee. After calling 3 different towing companies for road side assistance I called these guys. Not only did he pick up (every other one went straight to voicemail) but the guy helped me over the phone for free to fix my issue. (At 10pm) The guy on the phone was very genuine and didn't care he was losing money by not fixing it himself on site. That kind of honesty gives you a customer for life. They really enjoy gouging their customers. Especially college students who have a hard time paying for things anyways. They want to charge $135 for towing a car less than a quarter of a mile and say they're giving a deal because it's usually $165. Very unprofessional and the office and yard were dirty. They should not ever be used to tow anything. I feel bad for anyone who walks out of class or work and realizes they've been towed by these people. They only deal in cash as well so they'll make you walk all around to an ATM to overpay for their low-quality work. Would rate no stars if I could. read more

Our insurance called to check where they were and driver claimed on first phone call that he was in process of loading car and would bring to our house within the hour THEN two hours later he told our insurance company the car wasn't where they were sent to?!? Just got off the phone with these guys to get information on what they tampered with when towing my vehicle because my car wouldn't start and the owner answered the phone and was the rudest individual. He answered my first two questions sarcastically and rudely and after made some "I must have drank some kool-aid" comment because I told him my car wouldn't start and was asking what all they have to touch or maybe disable to move the car and I guess he didn't like that. He goes on to say I'm the rude one, makes other indecent comments and proceeds to get loud with me. I finally told him I didn't want to argue or be rude myself, I just wanted my questions answered and to get on with my car. He was having it and continued. First and foremost I want to give the manager, Kent Miller, a big thank you! I was completing my regular delivery runs when my car broke down in front of a customer's driveway. I called KO Towing and got in contact with Kent Miller. Before he sent out a truck to come tow me, he took the time to ask what was wrong with my car. He walked me through a way to try and get my car to start and when that didn't work he suggested a simple key ignition trick that got my car to finally start. He took the time to help me out instead of immediately towing and charging me for the trip back home. I rarely come across service like this and I highly recommend using KO towing for any of your towing needs. It's wonderful to have businesses who try and look out for people when they are in desperate situations rather than use the opportunity to capitalize off of them. read more

Illegally towed my sons vehicle off private property in Hiram, Ga pursuant to Georgia law, signs must be conspicuously displayed on the property ,there was no signage when my sons vehicle became disabled and he pushed it into the lot at Jiffy Lube, he had permission to leave the vehicle on the property while arranging for a tow to a shop due to a clutch problem. Police have been notified and a report filed with Hiram Police. We were charged $220 for a tow to their yard, I am still working to get his vehicle out of impound with them. My son just got out of the army and moved to the area, They are making it extremely difficult to get his vehicle out of impound, the only take cash or cashiers checks, and my son has to get to their facility to retrieve it, he has no transportation and no money currently, the owner didn't care and was extremely rude to both me and my son on the phone. I will be filing a report with the Georgia DPS and the better business bureau as well. This company is total trash and the manager or owner I spoke with is a total ass. I am appalled that they treat military veterans this way, they should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I just tried to speak with this company over the phone in order to receive some information regarding a vehicle belonging to my girlfriend that they had moved. The owner answered and was immediately extremely hostile. He was defensive, accusative, and impossible to speak with. We were just trying to find out if they had somehow engaged the theft deterrent system because the battery was drained. I called back and spoke with a technician who was much more reasonable. They towed my vehicle from an apartment complex for no just cause. My vehicle was legally parked and was not marked to be towed. They said my car had a tag on it saying it was to be towed. It's all about perspective. If you're a property manager or own investment properties as we do, you want these guys in your vendor list. They are extremely professional and handle themselves very well around us. It's the people who have cars towed that are writing these reviews....and of course they are ticked. They didn't do what they were supposed to and now have to pay a bunch of fees or lose their cars. As property owners, we specifically chose them after reading the negative reviews....we needed someone tough to handle are illegal parking or abandoned vehicle tows. They just handled one for us that was a very difficult tow...the tenant intentionally parked the vehicle in the corner of a downhill driveway so it couldn't be towed. These guys came out and had it out with no damage to the property! The beautiful thing is that the cars owner is responsible for the tow charges....not the landlord. Happy to know these guys and just saddened that we have to resort to using them at times....but when we do....so happy to have them! read more

Never been on the borderline of assaulted before by a private business person, I remained as calm as possible even when the clerk when psycho reaching through the paperwork hole in the glass to rip my entire paperwork folder including the car title, maintenance history, and tag information out of my hand gashing it open in the process in order to retrieve a paper he had just handed me that I would have been more than willing to return as it appeared we were not going to come to an agreement on seeing the car was not damaged in the towing process as they had already admitted they simply drag cars they do not have keys for with no regard for any damage that may be incurred as it is the owners responsibility when abandoned. The situation was not heated or confrontational in the slightest before or even after however the male clerk that could not control himself refused to come back out and even talk to me to try and resolve the problem at that visit or later, he used a high pressure style too infer the vehicle was in perfect condition being careful to make sure he was not liable for actually legally claiming it was making it pretty clear he did not want me to see the vehicle to "shop" it and see if it was worth picking up (which while I do understand the need for collecting payments I have never encountered a zero view policy at any tow yards before ranging from accidents to recovered stolen vehicles) leading me to believe it was damaged in some way quite visibly by the tow driver. In the end they gave up an easy $500 I was in a hurry to pay in order to go through paperwork from the state and a months extra storage to get $400 from a scrap yard simply because of the HORRENDOUS way I was treated. The irony was I was easily willing to pay upwards of $1000 for it but didn't need the quite older vehicle and am perfectly willing to let it go on principle because the attendants behavior was so uncalled for just to make sure they don't receive one dime from me. I understand monopoly positioning in the marketplace but I have never had a worse experience anywhere, not even government offices, it was so bad it makes me consider going back and raising all my 1 star google reviews to at least 2 stars.............absolutely appalling and very dissapointed :-( read more
