When we picked up our dog, the woman at the check out said our dog got a little scratch. Well, when she came out, our dog had a big gouge on her neck. It looked to us like another dog took a big bite between her neck and shoulder. I don't know what bothered us more, the receptionist minimalizing this or being charged $13, for some play yard service we did not request. Watch out for group play! They either do not monitor the dogs or put aggressive breeds in.

I explained how Layla always pulls on her leash and can be anxious around new people and dogs she has never met. Dana gave me the tips on how to alleviate these issues. She showed me her training leash, which was included in her fee for me to keep. Her techniques has Layla walking calmly without pulling in minutes. Dana even was able to get Layla to stay for several minutes! We trained inside and out and I was amazed at how quickly Layla was able to understand the expectations and comply with her requests! He got to play with sprinklers, enjoy one-on-one time with staff, cuddle during story time, and even have chicken and rice for dinner -- talk about VIP treatment! The staff did a wonderful job managing his energy, giving him time-outs when needed, and making sure he felt safe and loved the entire time. He came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for.
