they're gonna screw you over on the security deposit. getting $200 deducted for 'painting,' $160…read morefor 'deodorize' $160 for 'carpet shampoo' after living there for a year. the weird thing is when i moved in, there was dust all over the floor. and when i asked them to vacuum, they just kept saying it would be done. they hired a cleaning service (generous term. it was actually just friends of the contractor)...who then said she didn't have a vacuum. now not only am i bitter that for me i didn't qualify for a vacuumed floor, but i am also paying for carpet shampoo for the next tenants. i think the most annoying thing was that the other tenants in the apartment were so rude. they would scream and have loud arguments in the staircase (at least go to your room). made multiple holes in the walls. even had blood splattered. and govberg to your face is like "we want to know what's happening" and when you tell them..."ah boys will be boys" for example, these guys made a hole on the staircase right next to my room, (their apartment was on the floor above) and would work on it at 4am everyday. they would also do laundry then. and govberg's response when i complained about it was....'we can't tell them what time to go to sleep.' oh they also suck about responding to emails. just go to the office. the apartment was nice. but the hassle=not worth it.

The oven and bathrooms weren't cleaned before we went, and they threatened to charge us for this. They charged us for trash that wasn't ours during the summer. They charged for the washing machine leaking when this is a mechanical issue that wasn't even our fault, and they claimed that this occurred "during the summer" while no one was at our apartment. Basically get Govberg if you plan to throw away your security deposit.
