Still had to get to Carleton Place for my hotel reservation, and to continue on to Ottawa the next morning. Called the dispatch, she had a car to me in minutes, and Betty got me and my bike to my hotel. Smooth driving, lovely clean and cool car, great conversation, and a very good deal when compared with Uber quote (which I checked out too and not available). Thanks again ladies. The drivers was professional, courteous, and got us to the airport for an early morning departure. What I really liked best was that I could pre-book the pickup online and they send a confirmation. The price was fair and I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a lift in life.

If you aren't going to provide adequate means to tender effectively ad a business then don't offer the service at all. Seriously I cannot believe that I have to sit in this hot car while this old man tries to make his debit machine work.

It's an illegal charge and will be reported to the Taxi commission. I'm going to report your criminal behavior. Also, my wife called, 15 minutes after calling the first time ordering a cab, and they had "no record" of her previous call. It was the same dispatch both times. The second time is when the surcharge was being proposed. As a Modern City Taxi driver I would never charge $25.00 to boost someones car that is taking a ride from me. I'd simply run the clock as legally allowed, for 0.25 cent wait per 25 seconds that the cab is boosting the car. If it takes two minutes, it's $1.00, not a random flat $25.00. I'd also inform my customer of these charges beforehand. Know why? because that's what I'm legally allowed to do. $25.00 is not legally allowed. It's no different than loading groceries or helping an elderly out to their door. It's called common curiosity. Amey's obviously doesn't know what that is. I'll be attending the meeting next month and raising this concern to the commission.
