As it turns out there are a couple of ladies who really know how to run the show here. The line does move along efficiently and the lead lady communicates with the staff quite efficiently. There is also another lady who is a wizard of the espresso machine, it is a good thing they have her. On our first day there she came in late and this other lady took FOREVER to make our lattes, which turned out weak and milky. On follow up visits the wizard swiftly prepared our caffeinated beverages with great skill. The bean they use here has a good flavor but the espresso lacks boldness. The end product is just not rich enough, but it will do. The quiches are excellent, we always went with bacon Swiss or Loraine. They are a good size with a nice flakey crust, The granola yogurt parfaits are pretty good, the granola has a nice crunch to it. The yogurt was a bit sweet, it may be Chobani, but it went very well with the extra cup of berries you can purchase on the side. These berries by the way were fresh and beautiful. All the cookies we tried were great. They make a perfect affogato here, very addicting. I'm not sure if it's on the menu, but ask and you shall receive. The ice cream here is of a great quality, very creamy. The lemon berry tarts are way too sweet, they missed the boat on this one. I could not eat more than half of one. They did give us 15% off on the tarts because they were a couple days old. The candied pecans look good but the nuts are a bit rancid. All that sugar can't hide that.

We used to get only 1 dozen but I've never made it back to Cali without at least one passenger bartering for a few.. it's become a thing! fresh, buttery rolls on a plane is the adult equivalent to getting to stop at McDonald's for a Happy Meal on the way back to school from a doctors appointment; you're literally king for the day! My favorite barter-to-date is a few visits ago when our group was all separated on the plane. The ladies I was sitting next to ordered me a buffalo chicken wrap and a mimosa in exchange for a dozen of my precious dinner rolls ‍ Long story long, Honeybee's has not only made my visits to Tennessee even more special, they've pulled off making the long flight home fun too! I am for sure a lifelong fan!!! I'm so happy Honeybee's was able to not only survive during the pandemic, but become exceedingly popular! Kathy provided the lemon cake, raspberry filling and vanilla frosting as requested, but couldn't help herself and threw in her popular lemon cake, blueberry filling and vanilla frosting, just to try. She absolutely sold us and we ended up adding it to the middle layer of our 3-tier cake. My husband and I got married on Star Wars day. As a surprise to him, I enlisted the help of Kathy to add a subtle ode to Star Wars on the backside of our cake. You know, business in the front, party in the back :p It could not have come out more perfectly! So often wedding cakes are dry, too sweet and just overall unappealing. NOT KATHYS! All of the flavors came together beautifully, the cake was moist and so beautiful! Beyond the cake itself, Kathy was so friendly and easy to work with. She is clearly passionate about what she does and wants her clients to be astounded with the final product. We were told one thing regarding timing and expectations, but the execution fell short, which was frustrating on such an important day. I truly wanted to love our experience, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. When asked why this was the situation the owner, Ben, stated that the girl was new and that they would take care of the situation. They didn't. First a refund was offered for roughly 474 and then for 575 but was never sent. They jerked my sister and my dad around for weeks, and even the credit card company by submitting false information. I would NEVER suggest this place be used by anyone.

The frosting on both were the same cream cheese frosting but they definitely needed to add more cream cheese because it was way way too sweet. Went in trash. Red Velvet cupcake itself was tasty. But these are regular size cupcakes and not worth the price. Was $5.22 for 2. I have worked at 2 legit bakeries and both of them we have to get there a minimum of four hours before opening to make sure we have all the product baked and set out. If not... That's how you lose customers.
