I wanted to share a contractor recommendation with my neighbors because I know how difficult it can…read morebe to find someone you can genuinely trust with work on your home. I've been working with Diego Enriquez for about three years now, and I just recently completed my fourth project with him. This most recent project was having stone installed along the bottom of my house, and once again, I couldn't be happier with the finished product. What I really appreciate about Diego is that he is meticulous about his work. He doesn't just come in, do the job, and leave. He takes the time to understand what you want, your personal style, and what you're trying to accomplish. He then makes sure his team understands those expectations and actually delivers the finished product accordingly. He is also very hands-on. He is on site, supervises his workers, checks the quality of the work, and makes sure everything is done properly. My recent project was completed in just three days, and the attention to detail was still there from beginning to end. Most importantly, I've found Diego to be honest, genuine, and fair. That's not always easy to find when hiring contractors. I've never felt like he was trying to upsell me, take advantage of me, or cut corners just to get the job done. His focus is on doing quality work and making sure his customer is happy with the result. He is also reasonably priced, which I really appreciate. I'm sharing his name because I genuinely believe good contractors are worth recommending when you find them. I've used Diego for four projects now, I've been very happy with his work every time, and I absolutely plan to continue working with him on future projects. If anyone in the neighborhood is looking for a contractor who is reliable, detail-oriented, honest, reasonably priced, and genuinely cares about the quality of his work, I would definitely recommend reaching out to Diego Enriquez.

Every part of our yard has its own function and it looks great and feels great. We hang out, bbq, host in our backyard as much as we can. They fully gutted our backyard, leveled out, installed an extensive retaining wall, reinstalled the fence, installed new patio areas and stepping stones, and installed new sod. Diego and his crew worked SO HARD. Our project was done in July 2025 and it was so hot out, but Diego and his guys wanted to finish our project for us before the summer ended. Diego was always communicative, kind, professional, knowledgable, and such a pleasure to work with. He worked with us on our budget, gave us multiple options, and made the best recommendations. We're so grateful for Diego and his crews time and hard work! We even asked him for another smaller project and he completely delivered on that as well. He even fixed our fence door for us while he was at it. We'll be seeing if Diego is available on all our future projects! Many thanks to Diego and his crew.

We've used ECM Landscaping for many years, mostly for special projects, and been very happy with…read morehow our property looks. Todd Brewer is intuitive about how to best use your space, and over the years has helped us to both create and move various gardens, shrubs, and trees. Most recently, we dismantled a front yard garden which developed secondary to having a magnolia tree which was providing too much shade for grass to grow. After 30 years of maintaining this garden, we decided to remove the magnolia tree and relocate the many plant materials including 6 hydrangea bushes and a beloved lilac bush, and sod that area. Todd was able to do this without harming a single plant, graded and sodded the area perfectly, and replanted the lilac bush to its new location within an existing (and fairly crowded) garden in the back yard, with enough of a root ball that it it didn't lose a leaf. He has also hand-trimmed the 20 arbor vitae running the length of the back yard and provided mulching and other services through the years. We found ECM through our neighbors who also still use this company - and we're very pleased with Todd's work and appreciate his expertise.

However, a week later my card was charged a substantial amount. Called to inquire and the receptionist stated I was charged a "stacking fee." Not sure how the other reviewers reported good professional communication when I experienced the…read morepolar opposite. It takes a tremendously poor experience for me to write a 1-star review for a lawn care service of all things. I have attached screenshots of my text conversation with the owner as evidence. 1. On 6/25/25, 2 weeks after my first lawn service, they texted me to tell me they would service my lawn that day. At that time, my grass was still short and I did not need a service, so I asked if they could come the following week instead. THEY DID NOT RESPOND. 2. I followed up on 7/7/25 asking again if they could come that week. Again, NO RESPONSE. I checked in again on 7/8/25. Again, NO RESPONSE. I checked in again on Monday, 7/14/25. They finally responded, saying they will be able to come out sometime during the week. I thanked them but did not hear from them again. 3. Since they had told me they would be in the area that week and I hadn't heard from them, I gently texted them on Wednesday 7/16/25 to follow up. All I wanted was to arrange a date for them to come, which I think is perfectly reasonable as I did not want to miss my opportunity while they were in the area. Moreover, I had not heard from them since the beginning of the week. The owner then responded with an erratic, nonsensical tirade after DAYS OF RADIO SILENCE abruptly accusing of me not "staying in line with their schedule" and thus they could no longer do business with me in the future. It should be noted that they somehow expected me to know what their schedule is - how am I supposed to know when you're in the area if you don't TEXT ME BACK? Up to this point, I have been extremely communicative, flexible, responsive, and had not demanded they service me on any specific date. I did not require them to come on any specific date, and was open to them coming whenever they were available. All I wanted was for them to tell me a day and time when they could come out. After being the ones who failed to communicate properly with me for weeks, (as evidenced by the lack of response in the screenshots), my perfectly reasonable request to schedule a service was met with disrespect and confusion. Moreover, as much as I hate to dog on someone's literacy, his texts hardly made any sense or gave me insight to what his grievances were as a service provider.
