However, since Allied Property Management took over, I've been charged late fees on three occasions in 2023 and twice in 2024. When I provided bank confirmation showing checks were delivered by the 27th of the month, Zindi Rios from Allied claimed the checks were late because they weren't cashed by the end of the month. After I presented the payment coupon, which clearly states late fees are applied if payments are not received by the 30th, she changed her explanation and insisted that Allied hadn't received the checks by the end of the month. To resolve the issue, my bank contacted Allied to verify the status of the checks. However, Zindi Rios falsely claimed no late fee was assessed, leading to the denial of my reimbursement request. This misrepresentation is concerning. After reviewing the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website, I discovered Allied has 10 complaints filed against them, with seven related to payment issues. This pattern reflects a lack of professionalism and accountability, raising concerns about the company's practices.
