And Leslie more than accomplished that mission--she set the standard for how it should be done. We got married at a venue that spanned a large property in the middle of the High Desert, and the temperature at the time Leslie started couldn't have been cooler than 90 degrees. She managed to capture all of the special moments that preceded the actual ceremony, including brides' prep, first look, and both bridal parties. She then hustled down for the ceremony, and then managed to wrangle all of us afterward for photos during the "golden hour" against the breathtaking backdrop of beautiful Joshua trees and prehistoric rock formations. Somehow, she still had energy to work the cocktail hour, dinner and speeches, and then the most insane reception, which included dancing, a pinata, and a mariachi band. Most of my wedding day is a complete blur to me, which is why I am so incredibly grateful to have Leslie's photos to remind me of what an amazing and special day it was. She is sweet, tenacious, and utterly professional.

Her warmt, kindness, and her easy going personality is an absolute breath of fresh air! Photoshoots with young children can often be a stressful experience, but not with Ani. Most recently, I had a mother's day shoot scheduled with Ani with my 2 under 2 children. The morning of the shoot was rough, children were extra cranky, I was running behind because my hair appointment was taking longer than anticipated, and was an overall chaotic day! On our way to the shoot, traffic was insane. Throughout our drive to the location, I kept updating her on our eta (which kept getting longer and longer)! However, Ani was so understanding, reassuring, and kept saying to just have a safe drive. Needless to say we arrived 45 mins late. My nerves and anxiety at this point were through the roof because I was not sure how my 2 tired children who had been in the car for almost 2 hrs at this point, were even going to entertain a photoshoot. Well, thank goodness for Ani. She set the tone as soon as we got there. She greeted and welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Her positive energy and fabulous way with children just turned everything for the better from that point on. My children were immediately drawn to her and had an amazing time with this shoot.
