It is extremely important that you like your wedding photographer because they will be with you all day. Regas is easy going, friendly, and a lot of fun to work with. Also, Regas has excellent attention to detail and touches up many of the photos just because he is so passionate about his work (most photographers charge big bucks for this as an added service). Afterward, we had pages of photos, and the album seemed like a daunting task. However, Regas gave us a first draft which was a great starting point. Plus he had a lot of neat artistic ideas for photo arrangements. Then he was extremely patient with us as we tweaked pretty much every page of the album. Plus, he has a lot of options for album copies that you can give to special family members.

Regas Chefas photographed our wedding back in September. Our pictures came out fantastic, and we…read morerecently got our album. We couldn't be happier. I found his prices to be competitive with other photographers, and when you factor in the included album, he may in fact be cheaper than most. The album he includes is high quality and should last a long time. Regas met with us at his house to discuss all of the details. He also shot a great engagement session which was helpful and gave us some really fun pictures. He was always on time, and did a very thorough job with everything. Highly recommended.

Arnau was referred to us by our wedding planner, Genevieve Rojas of Lily Spruce, and I was I was impressed that his portfolio demonstrated BOTH technical skills as well as an eye for noticing candid moments worth capturing. Arnau is a lovely person who we enjoyed having around (pretty important) and most importantly: we were very happy with the hundreds of beautiful photos he captured of our day. A friend of mine was married a month earlier and we were disappointed by how much her photographer aggressively butt herself into special moments - killing the intimacy in order to capture the moment. In contrast, Arnau blended himself into the scene seamlessly - capturing great moments, often times up close, while still somehow blending in the background. It allowed us to enjoy our time with friends and family without feeling self conscious or interrupted. When it came time for portraits, he directed my massive family patiently and with expertise, getting great shots. Arnau mentioned that he wanted to pull us away from our dinner for a 45 min couples shoot during the "golden hour". We were reluctant to leave our party for so long, but we trusted his guidance and I'm so glad we did. I will let the photos speak for themselves.. PS: Turn around was as promised, 4-8 weeks after our wedding. He created a lovely online viewing folder that we downloaded from easily.

So far we have been beyond impressed with the quality, professionalism and passion he brings to his work. For our engagement session he came up with the idea to do a rustic shoot in the hills overlooking San Jose, which ended up being a very fun adventure. Arnau made us feel so comfortable and the experience was so enjoyable that we hardly even realized we had been taking pictures all day. The results were incredible... so much art and love is reflected in each shot that we were really blown away - as were our friends and family. He has such a wonderful eye for artistic, unique shots that far surpass what I have seen in other portfolios. The moral of this story is that I can't recommend Arnau enough for any event you want to capture. I know there are a lot of photographers to choose from in the Bay Area, but seriously, look no further, folks. Arnau is the one you have been searching for!

Maq is extremely passionate about his work, he really cares about getting the best out of the photographs he takes. I had reviewed the wedding albums of a couple of friends he had done, so I was aware of the quality of his work. What I did not expect was getting a photographer who is friendly and full of energy! Maqsood was able to entertain us and guests when taking pictures, and was even willing to help with crowd control during wedding events! They guy even does magic tricks and jokes (heavy on the cheese with the jokes!). Maqsood's wife, Kavita, is also a great photographer. She has a keen attention to detail and was instrumental during our portrait shots. She recommended poses that we thought would look weird, but they turned out looking awesome in print. She also was able to suggest what colors to wear that improve the quality of our shots. In addition she is a whiz at Photoshop, so she and Maqsood are able to put together some very creative collage shots Maqsood also threw in some surprises in our prints, he gave us some free metallic paper prints because they thought the pictures turned out so well. If that doesn't speak to the type of guy Maqsood is, I don't know what will. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

I usually have a good picture of what I want for photos but I cannot for the life of me ever think of a great location. Will was amazing with his suggestions and it far exceeded my expectations. On top of that, he actually gives you great poses to do and is so creative with the way the shots are taken. Again I usually have an idea but cannot come up with details lol. This proved to be so helpful for me as I am a shy photo taker and Will just made it all so comfortable and FUN! I love looking at my photos because I look happy and in the moment and I could not have done this without him. Do yourself a favor and find a photographer you can be yourself around because trust me that will show in your photos. Thank you Will for giving me these amazing moments to always look back on!!

I contacted a few different photographers online and after looking at their photos and meeting with David and one other person, I decided David's professionalism and personality would be someone my fiancee and I could really work well with. He was very responsive to all our questions before the wedding and set-up a face-to-face meeting to go over details when we got closer to the wedding. We were fortunate enough to have him and an assistant photographer Annie capture our wedding day. They were on time, very detail oriented and fun at the same time. We were able to get in all the shots we wanted (and discussed ahead of time) and many more. After the wedding we got a sneak peak of photos that were posted on the Bayphoto blog then came a beautiful slide show. It was less than a month total that we got the full online album to view. Everyone loves the photos and I can't wait to work with David to get our prints. I highly recommend Bayphoto Net Photography!

He is super friendly and is very good at putting people at ease. I suppose that is critical to get good photos :). I enjoyed the shoot and his company tremendously. The photos are lovely. My family and friends think he did a great job of showcasing my personality too. I will definitely be using his services in the future for all my photo needs and wholeheartedly recommend him to my friends and family.

He doesn't do events quite as often anymore but he's also been the photographer for a handful of charity events I've both attended and organized. Just recently, Colson did a family portrait session with my parents and brother in San Diego and it was (as expected) another 5-star experience. My family was so happy with the photos and my parents now have an awesome canvas above their fireplace that, as my mom put it, really captures our spirit! My parents were generous to gift a set of crystal cubes to my brother and me so we could have something for our respective apartments. Colson is just the best. Having these photos was really special for my family and I'm so lucky we were able to get him to fly down to SD for the day!

In that I found myself researching on line for hours and sometimes days! Finally I came across this yelp review for Colson. So I clicked on his website and fell in love with his work. That's when reality hit me and said, Ok if his work is this good it must cost an arm and a leg if not a kidney at least! But nope, I was wrong. So I immediately emailed this talented man and had to set something up with him. I met with him in the fall of 2010, in that, my wedding would not be until two years from now. On our wedding day, we were short on time, but we still managed to squeeze half an hour of group photos at a location downtown, and he managed to do such a great job in so little time. Anh Phu might have strong directorial demands, but it actually worked out better in the end for us. I absolutely don't know how to pose, etc., so while it might be funny during the shooting to give us commands, it worked out. Also, his wonderful partner Chi Christina did my make up for both occasions. She did a fantastic job. I loved it. We had two sessions on my wedding day, and she really went above and beyond to fix my make up in between the sessions when I started to have some dry skin. I got lots of compliments, and felt so beautiful. The budget is also very reasonable, especially if you go for the package and do both the engagement and wedding photos.
