Victor is very patient, cooperative and kind. I'm kind of a lot, and he did a great job of putting up with me. We experienced a number of setbacks and delays because I insisted on very specific materials for certain things, and he was right there with me the whole way, even when we ended up special-ordering shingles from halfway across the country. Victor's team are all highly skilled and take pride in their work. They demolished the old porch, removed all debris, and built us a brand new one. They fixed the siding the old one had messed up. They replaced the gutters with new ones. They patched up the newly-exposed part of the chimney. Every last detail. I also didn't have to hassle Victor to get a permit; he just did it. Which is such a baseline expectation it shouldn't make him stand out amongst his competition. Sadly, it very much does. Whenever you take on a home remodeling project like this, you have a picture in your mind of what you want. For this project, we had really specific ideas, a mix of old and new, materials and techniques. Which is normal. And it never turns out that way. Not once in all the renovation and rebuilding projects I've done over the years. Reality just doesn't live up to imagination. So I don't know how to put this in terms that will communicate how rare and remarkable it is. Our porch is exactly right. It is exactly what we wanted, and looks exactly how we imagined it. I don't think there's any possible stronger recommendation I can give than that. We couldn't be happier. And I am pretty sure that in another 125 years, whoever is living in this house is going to say, "Well, the place is showing some real wear, but at least the front porch is still in great shape."

We had none of the aggravation most contractors bring to a job. And they were in and out in a week. The walls had deteriorated in several areas because of water damage, house settling and age, as the house is nearly 100 years old. The interior of the closet was a real mess and now it looks really nice. He installed a new closet door and that was perfect, too. In sum, the completed work was impeccable. We are very happy to recommend Guy and his team. You'll be happy too.

G & C (Guy Fodera) has done a few major jobs for us. He communicates clearly, gets the job done on…read moretime (in one case, he needed just a few extra days) , does a good job and keeps tight control on his sub-contractors. There have been a couple times when we realized that we forgot to specify some details in the specifications (for example, damage to plaster when molding was replaced) and Guy took the initiative to take care of the work at no extra charge, without being asked, even though it was not in the spec. We are big fans and will use him again!
