With her help we were able to submit a competitive offer and secure a home well within our budget before our apartment lease was up. The sale went quickly and smoothly and she was there to guide us every step of the way, providing excellent vendor recommendations and advice. It should come as no surprise that we reached out again when we needed to sell our home after unexpectedly finding out we were pregnant in late 2024. He came to the house with Trudy to meet with me to discuss the services she could provide. I sat on the couch and started talking to Trudy, while Rick stood nearby, next to a table laden with numerous small items to be sold, including jewelry. I suddenly looked up to see him slowly putting his closed fist into his pocket. I gave him a pointed look, but I did not call him out on it. I mean, what was I going to do, reach into his pocket to see what he had placed there? Discussions with Trudy continued, and I did hire her. I even checked references that she provided. However, she ended up being a complete crook. She held an auction at the house, but she did not pay me for all items that were sold. She would send me records of a few items that she sold on a website, but understand that this house was full of stuff. I tried multiple times to try and resolve the item reports to the payments received, but unsuccessfully. What was clear is that I was not paid for any reasonable percentage of the items she took. And let me just tell, you, she took every single thing that was in that house. So, since this review is about Rick, I'll leave it there and let you draw your own conclusions. The bottom line is that this guy is a thief and consorts with criminals, so be careful in your dealings with him, and be sure to check your transactions to make sure that you are really getting a good deal/what you were promised. Real estate transactions are complicated, so please take the time to educate yourself and go over the documents in detail before the Closing.
