I am so happy I contacted Maribel at Del Real Tax Group for help getting my business incorporated…read more Previous to now, I have always worked as an employee under a W-2 tax structure, and transitioning into my own free-lancing business was intimidating to say the least. I've met with Maribel twice now and I already feel so much more informed and confident, and I know that I am in good hands. She also teaches me a ton, each session, and is super patient with my novice questions. I am so impressed with her balance of knowledge, efficiency, professionalism, and friendliness. She's direct and doesn't waste time - getting to the important bits and providing extra information for you to take home when it's relevant. Not to mention already finding me huge savings in my taxes compared to what I estimated doing it myself. I highly, highly recommend Del Real Tax Group.

Death and taxes. The only two things that are inevitable…read more While the prospect of both of them are unpleasant, I just experienced a local business that makes the tax process much more bearable. They are a small firm that can provide individual attention, something you will never get from H & R Block (and the like). My taxes are challenging, to say the least. I am an independent contractor, but "on the books" with one client, own property, have deductions, etc. Plus I went to Art School, so numbers just aren't my thing. Ha. Combined with the fact that the tax laws change yearly, who can keep up with that unless it is your business to do so? Well Fleck & Uhlich keeps up with all of that, no worries. From my initial consultation, when I sat down with Barbara and went over all my concerns, I received great customer service. All of my emails and phone calls were returned promptly, and my questions were answered. She even suggested that I open a SEP IRA, in addition to my Roth IRA, to help with deductions and to secure my retirement. I was happy to do just that, and wondered why my former tax preparer had never suggested this to me. If you need help dealing with your taxes, I suggest you give Fleck & Uhlich a try. I found their services to be professional, efficient, and friendly.

I normally don't like writing reviews but I thought I should share my personal encounter. As I read…read morein multiple reviews they are not lying Carlos is a great at what he does and is very knowledgeable the only reason I know that is because I have family members who still go to him after 20+ years and speak so highly of him. I can't say the same for the front desk people because that wasn't the case for me today! I was trying to schedule any appointment with my normal tax accountant yesterday but unfortunately he was fully booked then I remembered my parents always saying they wouldn't go anywhere else then with Carlos so I figured why not try Carlos i mean my parent known him for years even my sibling go with him and I never heard anything bad. I get on the phone and called the main number that's on his website yesterday hoping to get information and immediately encountered the most rudest unprofessional person, before I can even get a word out she immediately said we aren't taking new clients and hung up. I was in shock I let it go and went home for the day. Today I tried calling again this morning to get more information I was trying to be understanding maybe I called too late and they were leaving for the day. Maybe she had. A rough day I don know. After encountering the same rude behavior I asked if could speak to Carlos directly. She denied having that information like she didn't know it and didn't work there. How do you not have that information were you work? Weird! This time called me rude and hung up after asking a question. Anyways after communicating with my parents about what happened they somehow were able to find his number. I called the number and it when straight to voicemail! I sent him a message not to be entitled or anything like that just to be sure I was given the correct information because I was on the phone for like 10 seconds before hanging up and to be honest I thought he should know how his potential new clients are being treated! And from what I read here on review I'm not the only one getting treated like that. Sadly All I got from his response was I'm sorry good luck finding someone else. I was clear to me he didn't even care. I agree with the other reviews the front desk is your face of your business I would highly recommend training them on how to answer a phone. Thank you, good luck,

We were given multiple assurances and scheduled communications, but there was no consistency or accountability. Calls were missed, and messages went unanswered, leaving us without resolution. While there may be a high client volume, communication and reliability are critical when handling something as time-sensitive as taxes. This experience felt unprofessional and disorganized. I cannot recommend this company based on our experience. I truly hope they improve their responsiveness and client management moving forward, as situations like this can have a real impact on families.
