We just moved here from a large city and I absolutely hate finding new doctors. There aren't a lot…read moreof options for a pediatrician in Susanville and Dr. Carlton is pretty much the only one. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of written reviews either so that makes choosing a Doctor harder. I dont like the hassle of going to Reno for a good doctor and I am so relieved that Dr. Carlton is not only local but she is FANTASTIC! I brought in my 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. The second we were called back to a room I knew I made a good choice in Pediatrician because the nurse Carrie was amazing. She was so fun! I could tell she loves her job and she is good at it sparkle shoes to stethoscope! Carrie seemed like she was born to work in Pediatrics. Doctor Carlton came in and she was great with both of my kids. She listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. She also, talked to me about things without me asking which makes me feel like I am not just like everyone else that comes through the doors. My son wanted to keep telling her anything that popped into his busy mind. I appreciated her talking to my kids and not only to me. I had gone to a few other pediatricians before we moved here and I actually prefer Dr. Carlton and her staff in little ole Susanville to the big city! Dont let the lack of options deter you. Dr. Carlton's office really is a good choice if you ask me.
