These programs are provided for Asian teens and youth, who are rarely served by the Philadelphia City, high school, or other recreational programs. Without the Philadelphia Suns, the young people served by this organization would have no organized recreational opportunities or outlet to discover their cultural heritage! Rather than being all la-di-da-di, this is a gathering of males (who often bring women) to discuss worldly affairs - not the billionaire boys club that we're used to. The two times I've been, the found was outstanding. The upstairs bar/library is quite neat (did I just say "neat"?), while the dining room feels a little bit more along the colonial lines. Either way, if given an invitation, go. Once you're there, you'll learn a lot, both about this dwindling club and its principles.
