And lo and behold, the young lady that answered the phone told me that she would color my locs for me. To say I was elated would be an under statement. I get there and was greeted like I had been there a thousand times. Then I was informed that the young lady I talked to on the phone was/is the owner Mrs. Vickie and coloring is not her specialty but that she had been an instructor at our local cosmetology school, I felt a lot better. But still coloring is for a while. Lol. And then I realized that coloring locs is a real job. I won't get into all the technical stuff, but just know I wasn't ready. Lol. So it's finally done, and at first, I was shocked the person looking back at me was someone else (the whole purpose of a dye job! Lol) It took me a couple days, but everyone else I came across wanted to know "Who colored my locs? Or where did I get that done in this area?" I'm really glad I did! My last cut was a mess, so after 6 months of growing it out, I was a little nervous. Brooke was my stylist and she gave me an amazing cut (which was no small task working around the last bad cut). The owner was on site which makes a huge difference in customer service. Everyone was friendly and they have a large variety of services. They provide cuts, color, waxing (including bikini), manicures but not pedicures. Another reviewer said there was an overwhelming smell of nail chemicals but I didn't smell it. They do not accept credit or debit cards so make sure to bring cash. I paid $21 for a cut and brow wax. I highly recommend.
