I am putting a 3 star rating but I am somewhere between 3 and 4. I went in a few weeks ago because my radiator was leaking. I also needed a service. I have an older car so I do not want to spend too much on it. They told me that it needed a new radiator. I replaced the radiator. They pointed out the I had minor oil leaks. They cleaned the engine bay and serviced the car.
I had asked them to look at the tires. They said that they were OK for a while. Therefore they did not try to over sell me. It cost just over $700 for the radiator. Expensive but this is Melbourne. Kirk was friendly and helpful at the front desk.
However, I got the car home and the heater fan in the dash stopped working. They had also forgotten to reset the odometer from flashing after the service. Therefore, I called and let them know. I assumed that a fuse was blown because of the cleaning of the engine bay.
They said to bring it back in.
Negatives:
I had to wait a number of days to get back in and had to leave my car there for another day (ended up being two extra separate days). They said it was coincidence and it cost me another $300+ to get it fixed. I never believe in coincidence. (see my other review).
Overall, it cost more than $1000 and three days of being without the car.
I still think that I will go back will hope that no more coincidences happen. read more
