Daughter's car stranded her on the freeway late at night. Got down there thinking, ok a split radiator hose or something, I'll wrap it up and get her home and replace it next day. Nope. Water pump has decided to spit it's seal out, coolant gushing everywhere. Got towed, rang around and these guys gave a reasonable quote, and were close to daughter's place. Gave it to them, they were honest re timeframe as they had a full workshop (made no difference really, car wasn't going anywhere). Picked it up 2 days later, they honoured their quote, car was washed and vacuumed (I think) and everything was fine. Nice bunch of people, read more

TERRIBLE DODGY PLACE!!!! I am a female in my 20's and went here for the first time a few weeks ago as i just moved to the area. Ive had my 2005 car serviced yearly at my previous mechanic, but knew the brakes needing doing. A guy called me up after dropping the car off a few hours earlier to say that because its "an old car" (2005?? Not old) that its got a lot of problems and it will cost me $2000, and that i should be getting it serviced every 6 months at that age. I said ok stupidly as i trusted them and they sounded genuine. After payment i took the receipt to my friend who is in the industry and he was shocked at how much they had overcharged me! He said they had almost charged me double and done sneaky charges on the invoice that i wouldnt have picked up on as i dont know much about cars. We suspect that because im a girl they took advantage of me and my lack of knowledge, and i massively regret paying it straight up without double checking the charges first.
