The Concierge gal in back was a delight and friendly. My massage therapist was Sue and I hadn't heard of her before, but she was exactly what I needed. She found aches where I didn't know they existed and I appreciate she was looking out for my best self vs simple doing the job to get her paycheck. Careful, kind and nice! Staying in Minot for a few months during a move transition and really needed a massage. I suffer from a frozen shoulder for which I had a regular masseuse in Reno. I was so excited to find that this spa offered deep tissue massage as well as cupping. My massage today was with Heather. She is an amazing masseuse! She asked about my shoulder, about my massage preferences and about how my former masseuse massaged me. I asked for deep tissue on today's visit and asked her to focus solely on upper body - specifically my neck, shoulders and back. As she was working on my back she asked if my hips bothered me. I do sit at a desk all day and they do get tight. Heather is extremely intuitive to what area's of your body need attention and gives an awesome deep tissue massage. My shoulder felt incredible after the massage and so did my hips! My massage was so great with Heather that I booked a second appointment right away that will include cupping! While I generally only get deep tissue massage I feel very confident that Heather would give an amazing massage no matter what type you get. COVID note: The building the spa is in requires masks. The therapist wore a mask as did I throughout the entire massage. I was surprised that I did not have a temperature check nor did I see hand sanitizer for me to use in the room; however, that was a requirement in Reno and likely not required in Minot. He listens to your issues and knows how to treat the source of the problem, rather than just putting a bandage on the pain (metaphorically). I partially tore my labrum last year and have been to several clinics that actually made the problem worse.
