The only caveat i feel is that you do have to plan ahead if you want pizza the night before. He'll post on his website or facebook when they're churning out pizza's but it's usually on Thursdays. If you decide to give this place a try, order on their website the day before so he can prep all the dough. The cheapest ranges from $11 for an 11" - $16, again prices are amazing for what you get nowadays. For our first time we tried the margherita and sausage and both were amazing even after driving the 20 mins home. A warning though, the pickup is in a residential area and the left turn into his driveway can be tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area and picking up at night. Some of those driveways are a one way street, meaning you'd have to backup in the dark if you take a wrong turn. Once you make it onto his driveway, drive up and past his gate. You'll immediately see his pizza trailer once you go past his gate. Drive past his trailer and you can u-turn and do a "curbside" pick-up. Rex also does catering and I've considered that but they are on the pricey side. One of these days I might splurge and go for it. Although this takes a bit of planning and might be out of the way for most folks, I'd definitely give this place more tries as he offers more seasonal pizzas in the future.

We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality. Every couple of weeks they change up the menu I appreciate being able to do swaps as well because I can't eat broccoli/cauliflower anymore Everything was really easy on the sign up and I was contacted to arrange delivery right away. Communication is consistent and great, any issues I can directly communicate with someone and it will be handled right away. I am very happy with the service, and I love supporting as local as possible! I would definitely recommend to try if you are interested in a meal prep service and are local in their service area. I think if I could offer any feedback it would be great if there were some vegetarian options or swaps available someday? My partner is vegetarian and this could have been a double client household :) but yeah understandably different target populations for different meal prep services - but just thought I would share.
