When evaluating a property, he prioritized investigating every detail--sometimes literally digging around--to make sure it was safe and sound. He took the time to understand my priorities and helped me purchase a property I'm truly excited about. The property needed some updates and changes, and Kevin helped with the heavy lifting by making a list, identifying the key issues, and helping prioritize the work that needed to be done. When I shared everything Kevin was helping me with, friends were surprised. They said their realtors were no longer involved after the sale. Kevin clearly loves the process of matching homes with buyers. I'm grateful for his help and support.

I don't need a real estate agent to be super nice, but he was extremely rude to my roommate's mom. We are just two young girls trying to live in San Francisco.. any mom would want to make sure that their child rent a place with a landlord who is not sketchy at all. Robert didn't even bother giving any reassurances to us. He literally wrote our landlord's address as "Corner liquor store" to whom we're paying our rent to on the renter's contract. We even had to argue with him just to get this info written. His partner gaslighted me when I mentioned my concern about sex offenders in the area as we had to sign Data Base Disclosure. I've never had to sign anything like this before, so I actually appreciated Robert for disclosing what had happened in the past regarding the property. His partner, on the other hand, said to me that my roommate and I shouldn't worry about sex offenders because we are big adults living in SF who don't need to worry about these stuff.

When Bob found out that I hadn't yet given a 30 day notice at my current home he told me "I wasn't serious about moving," and that I "wasn't going to waste his time". He then said I may be able to go to an open house next week--which seems unsafe and potentially illegal during a shelter in place. In any case, since he provided no details about the open house before he hung up on me, he was presumably lying. It seems to me that not allowing certain people to see your listing is rude and bad business at best, and potentially discriminatory at worst.

Her team of subcontractors is top notch. Tim, who handled the painting, was a true asset and a wonderful person. What made her exceptional was her communication with me and went the extra mile to help me bring the condo to the market. I am extremely grateful for that. I left California while the condo was still getting prepped for sale without a worry in my mind, because Laura and I had timed everything with the right people to bring the property to the market promptly and well positioned to sell. She handled everything in my absence, which was such a relief. The sale was a great success. It was fast, smooth, with no hiccups. I can't believe how lucky I was to have found Laura. She's not the only agent I have worked with, but she is definitely the best.

We initially connected with her through our business school alumni network and already knew of her stellar reputation, as she had successfully helped two of our friends navigate their own home puchases/ sales in the city. The current SF market is moving incredibly fast--especially with the recent AI boom--and because inventory is so tight, finding accurate comps for a unique property can be a challenge. We had done a significant amount of "homework" before reaching out, but Laura's insight was invaluable. After working with her for a week, we were impressed by her market knowledge-- the data was well-supported by nuanced judgement that confirmed our own research and gave us much-needed confidence in our valuation. Ultimately, we decided not to put our home on the market at this time, but this process gave us a glimpse into the level of professionalism and expertise Laura brings to a real transaction. We would not hesitate to recommend her to any of our friends or colleagues looking for a sharp, reliable RE advisor in San Francisco.

My search started with her colleague, Yesinia Beatriz, who supported me early on and connected me with Madeline who was a great fit for my needs! I wanted a property in a highly competitive, expensive area during a time of low inventory. Madeline never made my goals feel unrealistic. She helped me purchase my dream home in a newly renovated TIC building on the border of Russian Hill and Nob Hill, smoothly navigating the complex TIC financing requirements. Madeline is highly knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive. She educated me using recent comparable sales data and reviewed every document thoroughly. In a multi-bid situation, her strategy secured a home that not only met my must-haves but also my would-love-to-haves (hello private garage, view, and fireplace), on my very first offer, with zero back-and-forth counters. She operates with total integrity and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout the process. I highly and absolutely recommend Madeline and the Ruth Krishnan team. I can't thank them enough!

We had no clue what we were doing walking into this and Lauren helped guide the way from teaching us about the market in general, advising us and referring us to good financing options, and more. The very first thing we did was an exercise to help make sure we had realistic expectations - we looked at a variety of neighborhoods with our price point in mind and looked at previously sold units to understand what we could and could not afford. It was very helpful to then narrow our search to start looking. Lauren walked us through all the options and made sure we wouldn't waste time with things that didn't make sense. When we found homes we liked, Lauren immediately jumped into action, pulling down inspections, sharing intel on the selling agent, and more. She would walk us through the full inspection reports and help flag things we should dig further into. As a family with a kid, she was also extremely thoughtful in guiding us based on nuances of kids in the city. And when it came time to negotiating the home we got, she worked her magic! Up against two cash offers, Lauren helped us navigate a competitive offer in other ways to beat them out. Unreal! Our friends were blown away at how quickly we were able to get a place compared to what they've seen in this crazy market. Our full time from kickoff with Lauren to close was probably only about 2 months total - wayyyy faster than we thought any of this would go down in the crazy SF market. Her team also helped throughout the close process to make sure we were set on moving logistics and getting set for all the new things involved in home ownership. We are so grateful to Lauren and her team who went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the home of our dreams and that we were set up for success. Would highly recommend her and the entire Krishnan team!

I was told the landlord was evaluating multiple applicants and to wait for the final result. I was eventually not selected. But instead of refunding me for my application fee, Liz simply told me that my materials were good for up to a month if there's another listing that I'd like to apply to. This was a violation of California law AB-2493, which states that the landlord must refund your application fee if you're not selected. After voicing this compliant, Jackie responded to me immediately and offered to help me get a refund on my application fee. I'm glad to know that there is indeed a process for rental applicants to get back their application fees if they're not selected. However, this overall experience has still left a nasty taste in my mouth. Honestly, this was the most difficult rental company I've had to deal with during my recent apartment search. I suggest Rentals in SF leasing agents provide applicants with clear guidance on the application fee refund process, if applicable. In general, the leasing agents can also do a better job of handling the overall application process because they left me waiting to hear back from the landlord and failed to provide insight into the decision process. This just gave me false hope that I was still getting considered.
