When we called about the water beds, they showed up promptly and had them loaded up (they were in the backyard) before we knew they were there. I reminded him of the quote and he said something to the effect that was the way the system worked but that he could discount the charge, which he did. I later checked with the comptroller's office online and found out that labor for landscape work is not a taxable sale. I feel like I paid $50+ more than I should have.
