My dining partner was hungry and looking for a meal, I wanted something light and refreshing. The plaza here offered both options. It has this lovely gem and a Costa Vida. I took my amazing Açaí bowl over to Costa Vida to dine while he ate his food. The bowl was wonderful. Took a few minutes to blend it up and have it arranged beautifully in a to go container. It was so filling, I even shared it with my husband. You can customize too if you don't like something, I'm not a fan of too much banana, so I subbed them out for strawberries. The establishment is large, open and airy with an industrial type feel and coffee house type seating. It smells wonderful in there like freshly baked cinnamon bread. There was a quite loud praise music playing on the sound system and while it was not offensive to me, a more neutral music soundtrack, maybe instrumentals, might make the atmosphere feel more welcoming to all clientele. read more

their acai bowls are overpriced but I knew that coming in. they don't use actual frozen acai in their bowls either, the manager told me they use just acai powder. she said the bowl had peanut butter blended in it, but it was not enough to notice. The nutty bowl tasted like just blended strawberries. I used to work at a smoothie place that used frozen acai fruit in their bowls that was pre blended, most places I've been to use that too :) it's definitely way overpriced to buy a fruit bowl that uses acai powder, I would not consider it an acai bowl...as the texture & flavor was more like a strawberry fruit smoothie. read more

First, I never make reviews like this. But my experience here was so bad. I ordered an Açaí bowl. First mistake was the lady didn't put peanut butter (the menu stated it came with pb drizzle) I went up and the lady apologized. She added the pb and I forgave it and thanked her. Next I noticed the açaí base also didn't have peanut butter (the menu says the base is mixed with pb) and there also wasn't maple syrup on the topping. I finally went up to let the lady know I wanted a refund because I wasn't happy with it. I told her the ingredients that were missing (I have a sensitive taste AND pb is my all time favorite. I'd know if it wasn't in) and she gaslit me saying she did add all that in. She didn't. She made mistakes but rather than taking accountability, she makes excuses, gaslights me, and refused to give a refund. Didn't even offer to make me another one. If a place is gonna charge $15 for a bowl of açaí, please don't make it subpar. Mediocrity is at an all time high. I also got their carrot juice. It was 3 days old . Is it too much work to make fresh juice daily? why do I have to drink 3 day old juice at a juice bar? I could've just got a juice from a grocery store for half the price. Also, I had ordered Chai Masala and she couldn't find the chai spice. We had to point out the tin like "it's this one right here". Almost didn't get the chai if we didn't find it for her. The lady behind the counter had a sweet and kind demeanor, but service was trash and work ethic was even worse. it's disappointing when you spend your money somewhere, and you don't even get what your ordered right. but go ahead, take the money. I'm all for juice bars but this place isn't correctly managed. I stopped by here after finding them on Yelp. There aren't many juice bars in the tri so I thought I'd give them a shot. I love the ambience and the decor inside. It is beautiful and tranquil. But the space seems too big for the establishment. As I got to the front I went over the juices. Unfortunately they were out of a few juices so I ended up with a beet juice and a green juice (don't know the name). Here's why the low rating. I ended up paying $30 for 2 juices. That's insane. Before I paid I noticed that I was being charged extra, I asked what for and she said "the glass bottles" I asked why put my juice in glass bottles and then charge me for the glass bottles? She said that they were out of the plastic bottles so they have to place in glass bottles and when they do that, they charge for the bottle.......so don't you think you should state that beforehand? Wouldn't it only make sense to tell the customer that the free bottles are out and asking if they would like to purchase a glass bottle? When I voiced the concerns her response was "well you can bring the bottles back and get refunded the amount" ....yeah. I just won't stop here anymore. For starters, I came in the morning. So it made no sense as to why they were out of any of their juices. That shows mismanagement. Second, charging someone for something and then telling them AFTER the fact. No good business etiquette. They need to reconvene and do better. read more

Love love this place! It is the only place in tricities that has cold-pressed juices made with organic ingredients. For those that don't know, cold-pressed is the way they extract the juice out of the veggies and fruits, it means it retains 99% of its nutrients. Most store-bought juices or other juice bars use heat, which kills a lot of their nutrients so you end up with a lot of sugar. If you are looking for juices that taste good and are good for your health, cold-pressed is the way to go. It is worth every penny! It is not just a regular juice. Check them out and you won't regret it. I highly recommend them. The owners are awesome people and truly care about making a difference in people's health. Plus, the place is amazing!!! Just stopped in on a Thurs morning and my first time trying this place. First, I noticed very tasteful job on interior decorating - love it! It was quiet and clean. I am not a big juicing person, so I was lucky that the owner was there to make the drinks, provide a great overview and answer my questions. I chose a caramel latte and the coffee had a fantastic flavor! Next time I will try the Americano. I also ordered an S-5 fruit smoothie and it was very healthy and not too sweet. While I was there, I also picked up some overnight oats to which you can add a selection of toppings. Why not try a mini-immunity dose as well! Although prices were a bit high, I will return. I love that there is a local place that specializes in freshly squeezed juices. For starters, I loved the charm of the place, as the inside was decorated nicely and looks like a comfortable spot to nestle in with a book or hang out with a friend. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. The potential for this place is enormous, and I would love to see it thrive. For that to happen though, somebody has to be tasting the juice before it goes out. I had a carrot beet ginger juice that was way too heavy on ginger. My partner had a charcoal lemonade that was way too tart. Plus at the time I went there they were out of apple juice, So there were several menu items they could not make. It's possible I just caught them on a bad day, because I do see a lot of great reviews. I would definitely recommend Just Juice to anyone, as I think a steady flow of customers will help them fine tune the finished product. read more
