I have been training with Janet for the past 3 years. During that time I dropped 60 pounds as I was very overweight due to menopause and medical issues. Janet helped me shed the extra weight and made me stronger. I am now using 15-30 pound kettlebells which is amazing to me as 5-10 pounds used to be difficult for me. I no longer have a fatty liver and all of my bloodwork was normal for the first time in 10 years. She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and gives you a holistic approach to losing weight. She is also very supportive and knows how to give you that gentle nudge to achieve your goals. I am in my 50's and I appreciate that Janet understands the physical and hormonal issues that I face. I finally called Just J Coaching a year after being told about her. I could have contacted someone closer to home, but my friends were so happy, like fun happy, I had to give her a try. I didn't really know what I wanted from a trainer but I knew I needed a change. My first impression of J was kind, non-judgemental, honest, detailed, and her smile just made me feel happy. The gym, Urban Fitness, was also comfortable and not intimidating. At the time, I had an ailing dog so I told J I wanted to get stronger so I could help her into my vehicle for her appointments.
