"Look at you grow!" gets said here often, when someone makes a small breakthrough in understanding, perspective, or pattern. That happens with people of all ages, through classes offered both online and in person at Hoosier Yoga Spot in Valparaiso. The work is based in nervous system science: learning to regulate mood, energy, and focus so the body can respond instead of react when things feel overwhelming, emotional, or unsafe.
Three classes, three different doors into the same work:
Downshift is a body-based practice for calming an overloaded nervous system, open to anyone navigating stress, big reactions, or feeling constantly on edge.
You and Me is a once-a-month playful caregiver-and-baby workshop. Real play, the science behind why it works, and space to connect with your baby and with other caregivers going through the exact same stage.
Soma Space is a creative, somatic group class: the art of knowing yourself, through movement, art, meditation, visualization, and breathwork, among other tools, rather than talk alone.
All three build awareness first, and awareness is what opens real possibility in the body: room to shift old patterns, rewrite an internal monologue, change our relationship with anxiety or discomfort, and simply notice our own experience more clearly. Classes run both in person at Hoosier Yoga Spot and virtually, so distance or a busy schedule doesn't have to be the reason someone misses out.

Whether you're looking for emotionally intelligent programming for your child, seeking tools to manage your energy and reactions with more grace, or ready to do the deeper work of identifying what's in your way — there's something here for you.
For kids, this looks like play. For adults, it goes as deep as you need. Find more ease. More connection. Less suffering. This isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about coming home to what was always there.
Meet the Business Owner: Annie T.
Something happens in Annie's classes that's hard to describe. They're fun — genuinely fun — and also somehow exactly what you needed. Introspective without being heavy. Deep enough to hold something real. Connecting in a way you didn't expect.
That's no accident. Annie is an artist and producer who designs every experience with intention, arc, and room for surprise. Underneath the craft is rigorous science — her work is grounded in neuroscience, trauma informed care, generative somatics, and developmental psychology.
The tools are for everyone: understand your nervous system, learn to move between states of activation and calm, and find practices that help you manage your emotions, energy, and reactions with more ease and less suffering.
Coaching is forward-focused and practical: together we identify the conditioned patterns that hold you back and build personalized practices that actually work.
