But like I said, it's convenient. They carry Yogi Teas for $55. Other Brands they stock up on are Red Mill. But also a limited selection. All meats they sell are frozen.

There is also a small selection of frozen organic and free-range meats, and fresh organic fruits and vegetables. They accept octopus cards as well, which I always consider to be a major score. My favorite part is the discount section, which contains deeply marked-down items that have just recently expired (I mean, peanut butter never really goes bad people) . . . you can typically find awesome deals in this section on tasty snacks and other odds and ends you might need around your kitchen/snack pantry.

Here it is: if you come at the end of the evening, they often have some excellent markdowns on the shelves and in a tote by the counter. As in lactose free soy yogurt pots that were $56 for $16, or granola bars that were $25 for $14. I once bought a bag of organic basmati rice that was a few days from expiring (but it's rice for flake's sake!) for 1/5th the original price. I'm in the store almost once a week so maybe we'll see each other!

Just Green has a few other locations throughout Hong Kong, but this newer location in Central opened just 2 weeks ago. They have everything you'd want from a natural/organic market, except for fresh fruits/vegetables (although they do stock fresh kale from Green Vitamin). I love that they stock pretty much the full gamut of Green Vitamin's products (See www.greenvitamin.hk), which is the main selling point for me. That, and the wide range of flavors of Happy Cow ice cream, which they even sell in mini-cup size! (For those who don't know, Happy Cow is made with coconut sugar instead of cane sugar and therefore has a lower glycemic index, but is just as tasty.) The location is a bit tricky to find (it's on the first floor above Christian Louboutin on Wyndham Street), but once you've found it, you'll be glad that you did (although your pocketbook may not be as happy).

I've tried VeganEgg and other vegan egg products but they've all been terrible, but this was definitely passable. The egg was delicious and I liked how it was incorporated with some Beyond Meat crumble which made it that much better. It was hard to taste the egg alone since it was very seasoned but it was delicious nevertheless. I also tried the bao buns which were good, but not as good as the scramble. I thought the bun was a bit dry but the filling was meaty and definitely fulfilled my craving for meat. On the way out I picked up some vegan gummies and treats (from Europe I believe) and they were amazing. Slightly sad that a lot of the items in the store come from so far away but I think if the trend catches on this issue should be fixed. I enjoyed my experience dining and shopping at Green Common and left feeling satisfied mentally and tummy-wise.

I am vegetarian so was tempted to buy up all the cool vegetarian snacks, food, and meals. The only reason for not 5 star was when I was trying to order my food at the counter there was a worker who was finishing her shift and was buying some products. The two other people behind the counter kind of ignored me and was not very warmly to take my order. I feel like a bowl of noodles (with an upgrade) and added drink for 103 was not too bad.

I think it's been around for at least 7 years. It's a small shop and they offer everything from organic eggs, flax seed and skincare from the US and Europe. I usually buy my organic eggs from here. Not exactly cheap but it does the trick. I hope shops like this stay in business, the salespeople are quite helpful and it's so convenient to know that they have organic items so close to my place.

Although still absolutely the best grocery store in proximity to me, this fusion is now more of a strong 4 than a 5 to me in my eyes. The shiny patina of a clean, organized grocery store with international labels to a new hungry expat has worn just a touch in light of time, options and exposure. The booze moved to the back and they got rid of the flax seed bread I like so much over the year, but the consistency of everything else that I said before remains the same. The produce section is still pretty good (lots of veggie options coming from food sources that are clearly identifiable versus the unknown food chain coming from some stores). The dairy section is still pretty big. The creme de la creme and what would change it all for me is if that sushi counter went away. It is still there and I happily am eating sashimi from them a few days a week. The check-out lines can still wrap around the corner and be long and you might encounter a unfriendly/non-English speaking checkout person on occasion, but that would be the exception and not the rule. Also, either I am getting wider or those tiny aisles are getting smaller, because there remains the delicate dance when shifting around people at any given time while shopping because there is limited space in the shopping aisles. I am still a fan and will remain shopping a Fusion. Again, I personally find it to be the best option in the area.

Dry goods are also on offer and these are great to grab as snacks for home or on the run. Kevin,Ivan (whom I believe are the owner/operators) and their team are always eager to offer assistance and recommendations on the different items they stock. They're extremely knowledgeable and passionate which is what you want when you're shopping for what most people will consider "speciality" items. They know details of the certification levels and only stock quality in their shop. Frozen Organic meats, frozen sustainable wild caught seafood, fresh organic fruit and veggies (not just the boring veggies - they have that and a ton of things I've never seen before but taste amazing - Kevin will even suggest how to prepare/cook them), organic raw cultured butter and cheese, the most amazing organic dates in from Iran!! I'll stop now as I could rattle off soooo many things I am loving from these guys. They've got tons for the Paleo conscious and the gluten free crew...I don't really care (or agree for that matter) for the vegan lifestyle but I'm sure a the most picky vegan would be happy with the offerings on offer too.
