What's worse, my friends and I were all smiles and "how's it going"s beforehand, so truly no reason for the attitude aside from malice. A note: Customers do not *owe you* the favor of purchasing your goods, and scolding those who choose to browse is not a good business model (and, indeed, ironic for a place called "Fun on Haight"). As far as pricing goes, I can only attest to the price of the "Peelerz" candies, which they sell for $9 USD (give or take, I don't recall perfectly), but which I have seen at other candy stores for as low as $3 (in favor of supporting small business, I am omitting the $1.75 pricing one might find at value stores like Dollar Tree). That's quite the markup! A shame, because l've been to this store many times in the past and made several purchases, but the disrespect that day will prevent me from going back.

When I walked in, I had one quick greeting and then the employees started chatting with each other. When I was about to ask a question, one of the sales person said, "Oh are you looking for the sales section?" I replied, "No... I'm looking for a gift. He's turning 2." And she showed me the entire section that isn't organized by gender or age. LOL! Very specific recommendations. Anyway, I was wearing sweats today but since when did anyone care about what one wears on a 3pm on a Tuesday shopping? And frankly, not that it matters, but I don't think I've ever bought anything on sale from here.

They have great items to give as gifts or to just buy for yourself. You may find that item that you never knew you needed. But, the problem I have with the shop is with either the owner or the person who was operating the cash register. My wife and I came in here. We were just walking down Haight Street and she loves these kind of shops. So, we decided to stop in and check it out again. As we were shopping, I noticed that there was this young boy at the counter. I would guess that he was about ten years old. The young boy was trying to buy three pins. He had given the the person at the cash register a dollar bill and all of his change. But, the woman rudely told him, that he didn't have enough money and to come back when he did. Hearing this, I asked how much did the young boy need to buy those pins? The woman told me fifty cents. I happily gave the boy the money. He thanked me, smiled, and walked out the door with his three pins. I'm sorry, but if a local business owner, or business employee, can't offer a child fifty cents to make him happy, there's really something wrong with this business and/or this business's operational ideology. If it's the the owner reading this, does fifty cents really make a difference to your bottom line?. If this is the employee that treated that young boy in manner, let me say, that's really the wrong way to treat customers, particularly when they're young people moving their way up though the world. Show some compassion!

Everyone celebrates San Francisco differently. Seeing a celebration for the area code of the city…read moreof San Francisco has been always part of growing up especially during my High School years at Mission High school which happens to be tallest building in front of the Dolores Park. Yes having Dolores Park as your school yard and the place to spend your lunch period and some after school activities was happening all four seasons of the year not just on April 15 or 4/15 now also known as 415 day. The corporations and other entities start capitalizing on some underground fun. Now it's celebrated throughout San Francisco with people wearing items and gear which has something San Francisco on it. How I still celebrate it is going to a park in San Francisco with a favorite adult beverage currently it's a bottle of Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir. Whether Dolores Park or Golden Park you can represent all four seasons in San Francisco by visiting that Park Life. On an April stroll in San Francisco finding where to park on Clement street can sometimes be a challenge in San Francisco. You can see people camping out for parking spots on Clement street ( like at Costco in SF). Park Life is a store on Clement street between 3rd and 4th Avenue which has items with themes of San Francisco. You will find art and stationaries. You will also see bags ,clothing, and hats with San Francisco on it that don't look like you picked it up at a souvenir shop at the Tourist trap in SF. You will also find some interesting books inside. There is a small art gallery in the back of the store . This is a good place to get a treat for yourself or grab a gift for others and have fun at a local San Francisco park . Whether it's Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, McLaren Park, Mount Davison Park, Sue Bierman Park, Lafayette Park, Precita Park, Bernal Heights Park, Alamo Square Park, Washington Square Park, Dolores Park, Franklin Square Park, Presidio Tunnel Tops Park or Glen Park , etc. This place in San Francisco is all about that Park Life. Born and raised in San Francisco I am straight out the"golden gates "to me it's always San Francisco and I only call it the other term which is SF I am not the one who "participates "calling San Francisco different nicknames on social media or in person"debates" I just know San Francisco is the best city in the "United States" Go take a stroll to San Francisco by the Pacific Ocean and not the" Hormuz Strait" to the day I like to "celebrate" in San Francisco on April 15 also known as 415 but there is also another" date " I partake which is on June 28th also known as the other San Francisco area code the "628"

Last time I checked, $1.75 plus $1.00 doesn't equal $4.05, especially with their pricing policy. I was told "I usually tell customers who come in that we do not take credit cards but since you were only buying a few things, I assumed you were paying cash." Huh? If your machine has been down for months, why not just remove the card reader? Either way, it would've been nice for her to tell me.
