A huge thank you to Georgette and Sophie for taking such amazing care of us during our meal, and to Patrick for being so friendly and helping us take some great pictures! The entire staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and welcoming. Before you even reach the restaurant on the third floor, you walk through their interior design space, which is absolutely gorgeous. Once you get upstairs, the indoor dining area is highly aesthetic, and the outdoor seating is beautiful, too. The only minor downside is that the indoor dining area was a bit loud--not quite what you'd expect for a fancy restaurant, but it wasn't a dealbreaker since we could still easily hold a conversation at our table. As for the food, it is definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely delicious! I think their wine is too expensive for a glass but the food kind of makes sense. * Starters: We had the Haas avocado caviar and the Buretta. Definitely make sure to order some starters because they set the bar high! I am still dreaming about that caviar--it was easily my favorite. * Entrees: We ordered the Salmon, roasted chicken, and steak frites. Everything was cooked beautifully. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Big shoutout again to Georgette and Sophie--we'll be back for them! Also shoutout to the Chef for picking out great tomato and avocado, it was fresh and very delicious.

We ordered some very nice chairs that we customized with a fabric seat color that wasn't in stock. They warned us it was a 3 month lead time, and they were accurate with their estimate. We did get chastised for taking photos of furniture, but when we explained why we were taking photos, they helped us. They didn't want us taking pictures of the prices of the furniture (I'm assuming so it doesn't get posted online- they were having a sale), which was understandable. The price for the chairs was great, and lower than online - and online I wasn't able to find the same customization options. Recommend!

My wife and I made several purchases over the years, three amazing European sofas one of them a luxurious Natuzzi from Italy, and some other fine pieces for the house including Calligaris. The service is knowledgeable, caring and impeccable! This is an old school family team that carefully curates EVERY PIECE of furniture and decor in the store, and takes the kind of pride in their work that is so rare these days. The showroom has a solid selection and some truly killer deals for the discerning clientele, but if you cant find exactly what you want or the color or material that you want - they have some amazing catalogs that allow you to take your purchases to the next level. Some of our purchases were straight from the showroom, but several of our pieces had to be special ordered. For the furniture that had to be special ordered the wait was reasonable and well worth it - furniture delivered as promised when promised. I do want to say a couple of words about the negative reviews these folks received - I know the types of people who left the negative reviews, I've seen them at the store several times - entitled intolerant idiots who couldn't tell the difference between the fine Italian furniture and disposable IKEA junk, or the self-proclaimed "designers" that shop at Living Spaces - the "McDonald's connoisseurs". Bottom line, if you want the best deal on the high end furniture and if you are not an entitled douche, you should check out Star Modern Furniture, and grab some sushi afterwards to celebrate!

I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. Don't waste your time; go directly to California Dining and Bar Stools! You won't be disappointed.

Harry Singh only seems to respond to emails about once every two weeks, making it almost impossible to move the order process forward. Calling isn't any better--you end up on hold for a very long time, and when someone finally answers, they often ask if they can call you back. Unfortunately, those callbacks never happen. I've also left multiple voicemails without ever receiving the help I needed. I'm sure the in-store staff is wonderful, but since special orders have to be handled over the phone, the lack of communication and follow-through has made the experience incredibly frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service because it has been the biggest obstacle to doing business with them. We had looked around online so had a decent idea of what we were looking for and what we didn't want (teak, for example). Annie and Maia were both very helpful -- letting us casually browse the selection outdoors and indoors, answering questions whenever we asked, and even looking up colors, styles, and delivery times for different configurations. Of course, what we thought we wanted wasn't what we bought -- glad we went to an in-person showroom. In under an hour, we settled on a table/chairs with expected delivery in 1 week (much less than we had thought). The price was fair -- more than Costco but less than other high end places. The furniture arrived when promised and setup happened quickly. They take all of the packaging away with them. Unfortunately, we noticed two small imperfections -- nothing structural but we expected pristine furniture for the price. Annie took care of it for us with no hesitation and four weeks later we had replacements. We've had the furniture for a few months now and are happy with our decision. Terra Mountain View is a recommended place for outdoor furniture.
