"Welcome to paradise." I overheard another guest say this…read moreto their friend and I couldn't agree more. Bohol Beach Club was the third resort I stayed at during my Philippines trip, and this spot is completely gorgeous. From the white sand on the beach to the crystal blue water and the tall palm trees, this is true paradise. I really enjoyed staying here. Being so close to the picturesque beach was wonderful. It truly felt like a vacation with the fresh air and ocean breeze. The resort room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved how it was conveniently located near the beach and the resort's restaurant. The resort's restaurant was great as well! They offer an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet featuring rotating Filipino favorites like pancit, longanisa and adobo. For lunch and dinner, there is sit down service with a menu that had various Filipino dishes, along with other Asian and Western entrees. I absolutely loved that they featured native cuisine and drinks. One of the waiters even offered me a complimentary native hot chocolate and I also got to try an ube tart made of Bohol's famous kinampay. On the weekends, the resort's restaurant host acoustic sessions right in front of the beach. Enjoying live singing while having a delicious dinner was such a lovely touch. Last but not least, customer service here was excellent. One day, it started raining and one of the resort employees noticed us without an umbrella and trying to take cover under a building. He personally ran over and gave us an umbrella to borrow. I truly appreciated his kindness. If I ever find myself in Bohol again, I would definitely choose Bohol Beach Club to stay at. From a beautiful beach front to delicious food and exceptional customer service, this place truly is beachside bliss.

I used a tour company to book our time in the Philippines as there is a lot of coordination with Island hopping. I trusted all their choices and this one surely didn't disappoint. Located in a gated area with multiple levels of security, it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed during ESEAN, and even with extra events going on, the place was incredibly relaxing. Our room had its own pool. It 2as shared with 3 other rooms, but pretty much private and open 24 hrs. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. A refillable water station was right outside our door. The food here is delicious. Breakfast was included with our stay and had so much variety. We ate seven meals on site and enjoyed it all. The grounds were fantastic! A big pool that never felt crowded, a couple restaurants, pool bar/restaurant, nightly welcome show, and more. A quick 5 minute tuktuk into town to enjoy an evening out was easy and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

At first u was hesitant because I thought I would have to pay for a day pass or something. She assured me that it's housed on a public beach and that the resort lets non guest enter. I spent an entire day here and I was in awe. The workers were so nice and kind. You can use their beach chairs too! You are encouraged to order something but it's not forced upon you. Honestly I wish I knew about this place before. I recommend everyone to come here. very relaxing with a real wide beach and space to move around unlike Alona. Also no beach sellers! Just pure perfection.

For 1500 dollars a night you would think there would be better things to do. Only nice thing I can say is the room was nice. It had a private swimming pool and jet spa which was nice and fancy. What I didn't like was that the tiki let and the shower was outside which made it weird and creepy. The lock to the front door was very flimsy and weak. It wasn't very secure, anyone could push the door open with little or no force. The bathroom doors which led to the showers were weak as well. Overpriced jet skis Overpriced food Overpriced drinks.

I didn't want to do any sight seeing in Bohol. I never wanted to leave but we were visiting and should do some touristy things. The pool was gorgeous. Not that many villas were booked so it was nice. Felt like we were the only ones there. I knew it was a fancy place but after being picked up I was surprised to see the staff waiting at the front with leis. Such an amazing warm welcome! Yes I don't know how to act in such a fancy place. It was such a nice treat. During the entire stay in Eskaya, every staff would stop what they are doing while we walk by to greet us a friendly "hello" and "good morning." So friendly! Our first night we had an amazing night eating on the beach! It was so beautiful. They also had a quartet of guitar players singing us fun songs and my aunts got up to dance. Breakfast was included so we ate a delicious meal every morning. Everything in the restaurant was so good! I loved swimming and getting a fresh mango or watermelon shake everytime. My aunt loved getting the fresh buko juice. I had an amazing time in Bohol and a wonderful stay at Eskaya. 5 star stay and 5 star experience!

Our rooms (we booked two) are beautiful, comfortable, and pretty clean! The amenities are great, especially the free ones! And although we didn't make use of all of the free resort activities, I'm sure it would've been fun! The gym is decently sized, the pools are beautiful and warm water, the wash up showers outside are stocked, the secret beach is a plus, the Alina beach is literally walking distance, and their free breakfast buffet is sooooo good! The facility is well kept, updated, and clean. The Saffron Restaurant offers good food which we got to try throughout our stay. Some items on the menu are meh and some were good. We also went for a massage at the Sea Tree Spa. The massage was relaxing. They worked on our backs and felt relieved after. Overall, we will be back. It was a good first stay at Amorita. I HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone wanting to go to Bohol

I found Panglao Regents Park , it was still pricey but compared to most resort in the area, it was the better alternative. The resort specifically stress that they are not a beach front resort, it takes about 10 minutes walk to reach the beach area which is fine with since it gets a little bit noisy near the beach at night. Rooms : Spacious enough. We booked the room in the main building with a pool view. The little boy who was with us was very happy to know that there is a pool right outside the room. Food/Drinks: Decent enough. My parents found it a little pricey so we usually eat outside. We did try some of their drinks and side dishes. Pinacolada definitely needs some more improvement. Staff : Very polite and friendly. The whole place is very well maintained. The rooms are cleaned everyday, so we get fresh sheets and towels. The water in the shower smells a little bit weird but nobody got any allergic reaction so it might just be the water treatment. Will I ever go there again ? Maybe. But for those who are planning to visit Alona Beach, I think this is a good and affordable place to stay.

I gotta be honest it was little expensive in my budget however it was one of the hotel in the area that has swimming pool. Thought it was a great amenities to relax after a long day at the beach. The hotel is located right at the heart of Brgy. Tawala and it's 5 minutes walk to the beach. I absolutely love where this place situated because its far from chaos and tourist. As much as I wanted to stay right in front of the beach I also like my quite time. The hotel is divided into two buildings. Its also has a gym and restaurant. Unfortunately the gym is not free. If you fancy dining in and feel tired; you can dine in at the pool area. The hotel also offers relaxation and tours. Convenient store and restaurants are just few steps away from the hotel. It was busy when I arrive at the hotel but the front desk was fast and efficient. I thought the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom and shower was fine. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the entire room was standard and it's exactly what you pay. What I loved the most about this hotel was the staffs are honest and polite. I like how they interact with their guest, the treated you like your at home. I love every single minute of it. For sure, I will definitely come back.

Hotel has a gate (w/guard) but you can easily walk out and find local laundry services (other than what is offered at the hotel). There's also a small shopping center that is walking distance with a few restaurants and shops. Staff and service were fantastic as everyone is super friendly and they almost seem to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your stay. The infinity pool is fantastic (for kids and adults)..... nice to also have the beach option but this part of the island is more remote... as the other reviews state, you can find better beaches at other resorts, but here it is more quiet and family oriented. Breakfast Buffet was superb with a rotation of offerings for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Special request items (eggs cooked to order, etc.) are just an ask away.

Upon entering our room, we could already see chipped furnishing and noticed the place was really worn down compared to photos online. The ceiling had brown smudge marks as if someone had attempted to clean it and failed. Spots of mold were found all around the bathroom within the grout. We complained about the water not being heated and the staff said it was due to the solar panels not getting enough sun. Speaking of the water, the tap was salty as if they were pumping it from the beach. As for the breakfast, it could definitely be better. They were serving rice, pancit, eggs, fried pork, corned beef, and canned mixed fruit. The eggs were cold and the pork seemed like stale leftovers. We were only allowed one serving of everything, but it didn't matter since I barely touched any of it. Hopefully, people are aware of these flaws before booking, because personally, I wouldn't want to stay here again. Gave an extra star for the AC working flawlessly.

Hennan Tawala pool appears large but is actually 4 pools divided in 4 sections that doesn't even connect. Our room was far from the beach and still had some walking distance. Had issues connecting my devices to their WiFi. The pool water was cold. They have 2 jacuzzis but all had cold water too. This place charge more than the other hotels in the area for sub-par service. I was charged extra for my 8year old who is considered an adult in their perspective. We were also charged extra for towels we never redeemed. This place will find every reason to charge their customers extra. They will charge you extra if you try to bring food from outside to your room too. I must say the best part of our stay was breakfast & the worst part was the extra charges, cold showers, cold water, and COLD treatment from their manager specifically the front staff/manager Jonabelle when trying to reason regarding extra charges. This place was definitely EXTRA (charges) and so OVER-rated. Not too kid friendly as they charged extra for 6years and older. They do not offer anything for the kids except to take a dip in their frigid pools. We will not be returning nor will we recommend. Save yourself the money & headache because the pictures shown on their sites are all just sugar coating. Note:. Had I known Hennan Tawala would be so shady, we wouldn't have stayed there at all. we are getting far better treatment, shown more honesty, and feel more relaxed at a 3 star actual beachfront hotel in Panglao. Do better Hennan Tawala!!

It is not located on the beach, but it's in the center of the resort. You have three Henann hotels here's side by side. The service here at At Henann Alona, I think, is much better than any of the Henanns that I've stayed at in Boracay. The main negative here is that if you stayed at Henann before, you know they have some of the worst non-HD flat screen TV's of any major hotel chain in the Philippines. Also, the lighting in the bathroom is in need of more brightness at the mirrors, especially if you need to be looking at yourself shaving. Other than that, I think having a mini pool I didn't have to share was a plus.
