After having visited countless barber shops around the world, I would consider myself a bit of an expert in rating barbers and barber shops. If I find a barber who gets me and works with me, I'm hooked. Christie is THAT barber! Christie listens, understands and follows through on everything I need. She is detailed, meticulous and always gives me a great shave, beard trim and haircut. The prices are very reasonable at Just Bladez Barbershop and having the easy to use booking app "Booksy" makes setting up an appointment super convenient....and I hear good things are coming! www.booksy.net read more

Ive been bringing my son 8yo now, here for 5-6yrs, tonight we had to walkout! The barber was blasting the music I asked if he could lower it (sensory issue) he looked at me with distain & maybe lowered it 1 notch! I'm going to be meticulous and thorough. Seeing as how meticulous and thorough Ricky was with me. I walked in looking like a piece of leprechaun roadkill; And I walked out looking like the king of Valhalla. I had the air of a man who obviously was getting beat up by life. I had never been to this establishment before but I had too much trouble scheduling a cut with my normal guy. Ricki was able to see I was having an awful day and was determined to make me look and feel awesome. The dude cuts hair like a swordsman. You can tell he very much enjoyed his job and it's enjoyable to watch him Turn a shrub into a sculpture. Great guy great heart. read more

Great place. Ricky's the fade master, very nice guy also. Book your appointment with him you will walk out feeling like a superstar. The whole place is really nice, good bunch of guys. -Donovan read more

Made an appointment online, also called to confirm with a barber at Just Bladez. I showed up 15min early and ended up waiting over an hour before he told me he had someone in front of me. I got up and left lol. I rescheduled with another barber, did the same thing. Made appointment and called to confirmed. I showed up 15min early and waited over 1.5 hours with no communication so i left. I discovered another barber shop around the corner, Signature cuts and had a MUCH better experience. If you come here, expect to wait around an hour for a scheduled cut and get no accommodations, let alone an apology. read more

I love this barbershop! They are so friendly and professional. Ricky leaves my little boy looking fresh and really listens to what I ask for. I have tried out many barbershops in Nutley and have found that Just Bladez is the best. read more

One of the best barbershops around anyone you decide to do with will be a great choice. Awesome group of gentlemen here. Super clean also!

Literally the worst shape up of my life ! Mind you I only went there go a quick mustache clean up ! I understand that the new guys deserve a chance too but when they know he's bad someone should be checking up on his work / I was passing by in my and i saw the shop it look great also a great vibe but I really got chipped up . I didn't mind to check properly because I was in a rush and put on my helmet right away / the surprise was when I got home / to far to turn back .... read more

I got a hair cut and beard trim a week or so ago. Kid was sloppy with the clippers and then for some reason used a straight blade to clean everything up. I ended up walking out with a poor hair cut with my face bleeding and razor burnt. One cut was so deep that it's still visible. I know I wasn't given the main guy but still if you are going to do a shave blood normally is a bad sign. read more

Good haircuts, poor consumer experience. Probably one of the better haircuts you're going to get in Nutley. They have some pretty talented guys cutting here and it's a great place for a fresh fade. However the way customers are treated is lacking. The hours posted right on the door say they're open until 8pm during the week. I went in at 4pm figuring I had plenty of time. However, I was told that that I couldn't get a cut because there was only one barber there and he'd been there since 9am. The other employee told me that it was his day off. I understand why neither of them would want to cut my hair at that point, but if you're working for a business that says they're operating until 8pm, 4pm is no time to turn customers away. So they've done a good job hiring barbers that cut well, but they really need to shape up management if they want to be considered a real business. read more

Took my son for a cut here...appt was at 5pm...he was seated around that time...barber disappeared for about 25 minutes without letting me know where he was going and when he was coming back. First..my son was 4...its bad enough I have to drag him to cut his hair...now hes sitting in the chair for 25 min? Poor customer service ..front desk helped to find him.. great cut...not a fan of "customer doesn't come first" read more

WHERE IS THE ZERO STAR OPTION - THIS PLACE IS A HORROR SHOW Go to SIGNATURE CUTS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. They LOVE how horrible this place is managed and get 2-3 walk-ins per week. They are courteous, quick, and give a NY-Style fade right in Nutley for a great price. THAT IS THE SILVER LINING IN WASTING A 1/2 HOUR AT JUST BLADEZ I echo all the other complaints about customer service. This place is run by kids. No greeting, no schedule, manager at the front (if you can call him that) with NO clue how to run a business. Orange-haired receptionist with no job other than to walk about, sweep up hair, and look in the mirror. Waited a 1/2 hour (guy was FREE but couldn't leave the back room - changing his piercing maybe) - walked out. WAKE UP JB THERE ARE OPTIONS OUT THERE. read more

I don't get my hair cut to often. But when I do this is the only place I go.. fast. Clean. And regular prices. All the barbers are great and really know what they're doing. I even change up my hair style a lot and they always do a perfect job! Best barbershop I have been to in years glad I found this place last year read more

I always go to this place to get a quality hair cut. I've tried several barbers and to me they have the experience and knowledge to cut your hair just the way you want it. Steven and dale(don't know how spell his name :( Well anyways I truly recommend this place to all. read more

I had to get a new barber because i just moved to the area and i'm always scared to get a new barber to cut my hair but I knew from looking at the inside of the place, that i could trust any worker. They are all friendly and make me feel right at home and Kristy gave me an amazing haircut and even gave me a few tips on my hair. I definitely recommend coming to this barbershop. read more

I can only come here to get a haircut. Best place by far I've ever been to. Never had a bad experience would always recommend to anyone. Great shop! read more

Great barbers. Quick service. I've never made an appointment, but haven't waited more than 10 minutes.

I have no words to explain what type of hair cut I received from this establishment today.... To be honest, Stevie Wonder could've done a better job. Worst haircut of my life, seriously. Definitely not coming back read more

The WORST! I made an appointment they look me 35 min late. Then took an hr and 15 min to SHAVE MY FACE!! I have sensitive skin, he shaved me w a straight razor... TWICE!! And then busted out the electric. He tore my face up!!! My skin is cut up irritated and red. They sit around and gossip like a bunch of yentas when they should be working and focusing on getting customers in and out. DONT GO HERE! read more

[bad review] I made an appointment for 11:30am, I arrived a few mins before and sat down, no one greeted me or asked me who am I going be getting a haircut with. They took all the 2 walk ins, once the barbers finished one went to get pizza and the other mAle barber went to the back of the shop, knowing there was a customer waiting on the store. I asked one of the ladies there about my appointment, they said to keep on waiting while they would find out more about it. Very disappointed, will not come back again, wasted gas money, a toll and parking meter money. What a waste of my time. Will not recommend nor will I ever come back. Very unprofessional, very rude. Bad business. read more

I've been going to Just Blades for a while now and it's time I made a review. Consistently good haircuts and never a bad one. That is what you would expect from a good barber. I usually go to Chris or Dale but they all give good cuts. Make an appointment and you are set. Why wait in the shop when you can just make an appointment. Highly recommended for anyone in the area. read more

Coming from brooklyn, Ive always had my own place, my own barber, even my own chair. Ever since moving to Nutley, I finally found my next spot for a cut. Depending on when you go it can be either really busy or really slow. The guys there do good things and they listen to what you want. Sometimes when I go theres not enough barbers and it may take a while to get a cut but I don't mind waiting. read more

Showed up for my appointment I made with Nico the day before 10 minutes early. After waiting 30 minutes I left and decided to call back so there wasnt a problem in front of customers. He was very aggressive and nasty to me right away. Saying I should have said something when in fact I had told the manager I was there for an appointment. He continued to get more and more confrontational and out of frustration I said "are you stupid or something" as he tried to put the blame on me. Mind you I was there two weeks earlier waiting for him for 30 minutes as well. 5 minutes later I called back looking to speak to the manager where I over hear Nico lying saying I called him all these names as the manager was talking to both of us at the same time. He had no resolution to the situation. I was going to forget about the whole thing and move on till I received this text from Nico. He must have gotten my number off the caller ID from when I called the store. I never responded to him instead just showed the manager who had no response or resolution yet again. read more

Not a good barbershop. I had no appointment and walked in. It was the end of the day. The young girl, receptionist at the time, locked the door and the boss corrected her right away and told her to never do that again while customers are still in the shop. Then some asian guy started counting cash in front of me to divide it to the rest of the crew. (Really? Couldn't be any more discrete about it? I can care less how much cash is flowing around the shop. Just give me a cut) Anyways moving forward, 3 barbers left and none wanted to stay any longer and help the boss who was staying late for the day. So I waited patiently. The boss then takes ANOTHER GUY who just walked in and told me that he had to give him a cut first because he had an appointment. Then, more than an hour later, I get my cut and had to listen to the boss complain about his co-workers. What a horrible experience. This shop is a YUPPY barber shop. Go to the next town over and get better quality cuts. Avoid this yuppy place read more

I'm not sure if the haircuts here are good but don't even bother making an appointment. It apparently doesn't mean anything. I'm sitting here right now and my 1030 appointment is turning into 1130 and I still haven't been acknowledged or seen. People walk in who are friends with the barber cut in the queue. Guys...pick up your customer game here. I'm definitely not coming back here again. read more

I don't know if 1 star is even enough. Waited for almost 2 hours and the barbers didn't even looked at me. I was walk-in, and so was 2 other guys but they were taken first because they're "buddies". Won't even come back here. read more

I went into the shop and had only two people ahead of me so I thought it would be a quick trip to the barber shop...no! 3 people came in after me and all cut me because I guess they know somebody and I dont? I waited 1 hour and 15 min. before I just got up and walked out of the place!!! Worst customer service i've ever experienced and I highly recommend you stay away from this shop ... unless you know somebody... read more

Worst barbershop around. Barely no good customer service. I walk in was told 15min wait. Another customer walks in with no appointment was taken right away. I gave them the benefits of the doubt as I have came here before. Each time with a different problem. First one barber wouldn't stop talking on the phone the next made me wait 2 hours for a haircut and the list goes on. read more

Been coming here since they opened. They always get me in and out. Never had a bad haircut from anybody. Always left satisfied.

This place is the worst, took my son who is 16 years old for a hair cut, my son wanted close on the sides high on top, the guy who cut his hair cut it like a crew cut, like if he's a three year old. I do not recommend this place. read more
