We ate here while visiting Espot for some hiking. There is a restaurant inside and cafe outside, with the same menu. The menu is available in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. The servers were always polite. The bread was fresh. The mushroom cannelloni and mushrooms in cream sauce were fantastic. The mixed salad was just fine. The Catalan soup had a delicious and savory broth but the meat in it was nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the beef steak but was not a fan of the popular Civet, which was made with deer the day we went rather than the typical wild boar. The lamb was thin and a bit overcooked. The wild boar leg steak had pine nuts and raisins and was tasty; it was served rare with an oily sauce which I'd assume is to compensate for the natural dryness of the game meat. read more
