I am still a newbie to sushi, but the sushi I had here has immediatelly become one of my benchmarks. Maybe because of a tiny bit of caviar on top of each sushi-piece, no idea, but I found it exceptional. I tasted my first Dim Sum too - and I am happy I did it exactly here. Now I believe it can only be amazing. Above all this is another great location for my personal restaurant/bar list for the first district - only around 200 meters behind Kärntner Straße. Lovely ambience - the mix of modern and fancy, and slightly industrial, with a bit of Asian influence, ready to brilliantly fulfill both of its functions - kitchen & bar. At first I definitely wanted to sit at the bar, since I had the idea of open kitchen and street food, but here the bar is rather a place where you get your drinks and that is fine too. Other seating possibilities are very comfy, including one long bar-table which I can imagine bursting with life on a Saturday evening. Don't know if that already is the case, as the place is brand new, but it definitely should be. We were welcomed by a very professional and pleasant waiter who made the ordering process relaxed and enjoyable. The appetizer mix for two that he recommended was partly still too exotic for my level of understanding Asian delicacies. It included things such as pickled lotus root and pickled something else that I can't recall now and didn't fall in love with on first bite, but the salmon tartar with bio-avocado was a dream. I can't wait to go again and make my own selection from what I know now. Because what followed the appetizer made me want to base my whole diet on it. Another thing to like here are the prices, as they are indeed fair for the quality and service level provided. Drinks are not the cheapest, but food will make up for it at the latest. I was very happy with that extremely light Tiger beer, but there is enough selection of mixed drinks too for any kind of mood. Best thing about food here next to its taste is that it can be combined in some sort of tapas way - which they call "Häppchen". You can choose between various small portions of sushi and co. and regular sizes. That possibility is highly welcome. Have I mentioned that they have also come up with the loveliest and most organized menu presentation I have seen? Something that all restaurants with that much variety should consider. All in all, I'm already planning my next visit!

I had a very good experience at JUNN. The food was excellent and the Rose Tea was great as well. Their lunch special is a great deal as well, you get a lot of food at a cheap price! I would definitely recommend giving JUNN a try!

Good food and good service in a cosy environment. I had sushi and dim sum and both were delicious.

The staff was incredibly courteous and to my relief, they spoke Mandarin to me (since I don't speak a lick of German). They sent out some items compliments of the chef, and the portions were all more generous than I expected. I really enjoyed their Thai coconut soup (Tom Ka Gai). One of the servers took 30 minutes to explain all the sights I should try to see in Vienna, and drew me a map and wrote everything down. Also, they have an indoor area that is air conditioned in case you're seeking refuge from the heat!

I got some sushi and it was very nice. Like most non-4-star sushi places in Vienna, your choices of fish are tuna, salmon, whitefish/butterfish, and shrimp. Li's also had some eel. I tried their mega futo maki roll, which is the kitchen sink of sushi rolls. Packed inside the rice and seaweed were tuna, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, and avocado. To top it off, there was a sweet mango dipping sauce for the rolls. Tasty, but so big that fitting it into my mouth became an engineering wonder! They make their own ginger iced tea, which was excellent and sweetened with honey. Just make sure to mix it to get the honey off the bottom of the glass. The service was decent and pretty standard for Vienna.

I'm a little confused because most of these dishes are heavily Korean inspired, but there's no mention of it. The website and menu describe the food as being "Asian fushion" and also Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese. I will say, to their credit, that it was all very inexpensive, and the food was a refreshing and welcomed change from eating Austrian food for days. I had the pork belly buns and beef kimchi tacos. Both were okay, not amazing. The buns were better than the tacos, which had barely any meat or kimchi in them. They have a limited menu, and are mainly a take-away establishment. They have 3 crammed tables. If you're in the area and are having a really specific craving for Korean food, check it out. Otherwise, there are probably better food options in naschmarkt.

This small pan-asian global fusion restaurant is just across from the naschmarkt and they do suffer from some of its touristy inflation. I got the Jianbing (crepe on the right) and the hashimaki (on left. They both cost about the same but the Jianbing is easily twice as filling but half as portable. This place was a nice stop to satisfy my craving for asian streetfood but not someplace I'd go if I was only in town for a day or two.
