Was able to snag some Cadbury creme eggs, and other delicacies. Cute souvenirs as well. Good prices on books, and a really cute space. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood

Being a brit in Paris, I was delighted to see a Big British brand in WH Smith, this is one of the…read morefew British Bookstores in the city, I must reiterate the comments in a few other reviews that the self-proclaimed first British Book Store nearby which "is never open" was... not actually open. It had an old book store vibe to it, they also had a small range of drinks which were overpriced but where isn't in Paris? They had books mainly in English, I think they had a few French ones too. The store wasn't as modern inside and it didn't have the typical WHSmith experience which one would get in the UK, but it was a decent store nonetheless. They really do need to work on the entrances though, the only entrance due to COVID is up steps which wouldn't be disabled friendly, meanwhile, the front entrance is used as an exit - surely they should just use one door each for the front to accommodate everybody? 3* - Not a bad book store overall, a familiar brand which I like, service impersonal and prices a little high though.

I love shops like Album Comics, and we have several of them in the States. I often find, however,…read morethat the random paraphernalia found in comic book stores is overpriced in the States. Either I'm wrong about that or Parisians are paying out the nose eight times for their whimsical gift items. Still, the shop is well-stocked and very fun to browse. You can find a huge selection of action figures and little toys related to various areas of pop culture - animes, video games, movies, cartoons, etc. I enjoyed a whole set of wands from the Harry Potter movies, as well as uniforms and Hermione's time turner. There are Twilight trinkets too, of course. An army of figurines from One Piece line a glass case, and Matt B. and I found a trove of Barbapapa toys. I almost bought a Raving Rabbid before deciding it was way too expensive. Of course, there are comic books too, and plenty of other random knick-knacks. The vibe of the place is just fun and conducive to a long browse. It's located near the Sorbonne, so I'm sure it gets student traffic. I know I would spend some time here if I were a student and it were in my path.

So inviting/clean, interesting and easy to browse. Lighting was also great. The way everything, the…read morecomics in particular, are arranged makes it easy to find what you came for or be introduced to new items. Large selection of comics in French and English. Loved it here!
