Mom really liked working with Ms. Kestler and her assistance, Jessica, after my Father pasted in October, 2017. Ms. Kestler and Jessica walked Mom through both processes which was no easy feat with an almost 80 year old woman. The only issue we had after my father's probate hearing was documents being returned. Ms. Kestler thought they had and my Mother insisted they hadn't. This went back and forth for over a year. Turns out when my mother passed away all the documents (titles, deeds, etc) were in the attorney's file. I shouldn't have doubted my mother. Since my parents were living in Rosenberg, TX and I'm in Indianapolis, most of my communication with the law office was by phone. I spoke to Ms. Kestler briefly three times prior to my Mother's Probate hearing date. Most of my dealings were with Jessica who was a trooper and always delivered my messages, promptly returned my calls, helped with documents and answered many of my questions. She was a life saver and reduced my stress level throughout the process. I'd never been through a Probate hearing so I truly had no idea of what to expect especially in a different state. Ms. Kestler met me at the courthouse a few minutes early to go through the steps. It was a quick hearing, less than 15 minutes, thorough and painless. Time did not permit Ms. Kestler to return documents after court so I went to her office a few days later. I worked with Jessica to retrieve titles, deeds, surveys, etc. from my parent's files. Overall, the probate process was handled in a timely manner even though we still have a few loose ends to tie up on both sides but I would say it was a successful experience.
