The furniture company I ordered my new sectional from called me Monday morning to let me know it would be arriving Thursday, and I needed junk removal fast. I made an appointment with 1-800-GOT-JUNK Tuesday evening for a Wednesday morning slot and could not be more impressed! Their website is straightforward and easy-to-navigate - you just pick your specific date and timeframe and they'll reach out with both a confirmation email and call. Michael asked what items I'd need taken care of to gauge the size of the delivery truck needed and said they would provide an accurate quote onsite day-of. My items included an old couch, broken desk, dresser, lamp, a small table with two chairs, extra floorboards and an armoire. With a noon to two pm slot scheduled, they called me around 11 to ask if I could do earlier as they were running ahead of time. No problem and they arrived promptly within ten minutes. After looking at the items, Michael gave me a quote within the $300-360 range (depending on if the items filled up a third or quarter of the truck), which I felt was very reasonable. He and his two team members were so friendly and efficient that they had everything out within the hour. They even went as far as to break down my furniture so it'd fit in a quarter of the truck, so I ended up paying $300 for their services. I was able to pay with my credit card using Square, and gave them a well-deserved tip. The whole process was so streamlined and saved me a lot of undue stress - I'd highly recommend this company to anyone and will be using their services again!

I had a few more questions so I sent another email and received a phone call within a few minutes and the guys decided to come and check out the situation that night, within the hour. They would have removed the junk that same night but I asked if they could come the next day, and they did. I had arranged for my flooring guy to let them into my suite while I was at work, and had set aside all the renovation debris and rubbish for them to take, which they did, but unfortunately my flooring guy had misunderstood and removed a few items from the rubbish pile so they weren't taken. I found out after the VRR guys had already left so I called them, explained the situation, and they offered to turn around and pick up the items that had been left behind! Such GREAT service, willing to go above and beyond!

I named a price in the middle of the range he was quoting me and we agreed on that price. With that I made a verbal promise not to call around and get more quotes and he agreed to show up. As soon as he arrived at my place he saw the couch- a Karlstad couch from Ikea- and said it was really heavy so he would need to charge me more money. I actually didn't even have more money to give but I managed to scrounge some up and pay him the extra. But I feel as if I was scammed by Inderjit (the business owner). I mean if you agree on a price so that you are both happy then you show up and ask me for $20 more on the spot- it puts me in a difficult situation since I was moving out that day and didn't have time to scramble for someone else and he knew it! I feel like someone in the moving business should know that Couches Are Heavy!! On top of that, he left scratches in my hardwood floor!!! I know they weren't there before because I had literally just cleaned the house top to bottom for my move out inspection and the property manager is Extremely Picky. I am being charged by the property manager btw. So in the end, hiring Inderjit put me at a major loss. There are so many other options, choose another well reviewed company for your removal needs.
