Timely. Inexpensive and super helpful guys to help me clear out a bunch of stuff that didn't make it from an out of state move. Called them back even. read more

They were first to respond and very responsive. They came by for a free estimate. They could have completed the job if we booked them right then and there, but we went w/ another company. Great service. read more

Junk King was the first to respond and they were very communicative. The truck was clean and well maintained (yes this matters to your neighbors!) and they were efficient in getting the work done. They made a fair quote and stuck with it. My only request is to add a way to provide tips. I know I am paying for a service but I always appreciate having a way to acknowledge good attitudes and excellent work. read more

Super fast and responsive. Was able to pick up the same day. We will definitely use Junk King again.

The job was booked with a two hour window starting at 2:00 pm today. At 2:21 pm, got a call from the truck saying they'd be here in 10 minutes. Then, 10 minutes later, they were here. The job was to remove a Tempur-Pedic Mattress (weigh 150 lbs) and the two box springs that supported it. Art and Joseph were both excellent! Fast, courteous, and careful. Because of illness in the house, both put on face masks and shoe covers on their way in. Art gave us a most reasonable estimate, and so the mattress and box springs were gone in a matter of few minutes. Very impressed! read more

I'm so happy with the experience I had! They were quick to respond, communicative throughout the process, and gave me a very fair quote. They also thoroughly cleaned up my backyard patio area after the removal, which was very impressive. I would absolutely recommend this company, and I'd definitely call again next time I need something hauled away. read more

They came as scheduled and within 25 minutes they did what I wanted. Quick and easy to schedule and reasonable read more

Absolutely wonderful experience with Art and Joseph. Fair pricing, friendly staff, on time and efficient.

Although they only sent the driver by himself to gather our junk, he handled it with a smile and was so friendly. The fee for haul away was fair and reasonable. Felt bad he did not have help (business owner you need to have at least two employees per truck to share the work). We have used Junk King before and will again in the future! read more

they made my down-sizing experience easy. I will definitely use this service again soon. They were thoughtful and efficient

This company doesn't show up when you schedule. They give a two hour window for them to arrive, and they don't show up nor call you if there is an issue. They also don't answer their phones when you call them to get any answers. It's 800 number which is strange. I ended up having to get a uhaul and do it myself. read more

5 stars! Very easy to book and fantastic service. The pricing was very reasonable and the 2 workers were kind and hard working. Will rebook with this company again! read more

Fair price, arrived on time, did the job quickly, carefully, and efficiently. Would definitely hire them again.

I had a small pick up required but it was complex as the location was in a remote area. Junk King was able to handle it without issue, they were very professional they called well in advance and the price was very reasonable, especially for the California market. Highly recommend them for jobs! read more

I'm so impressed with this company. They were fast and efficient in removing a large old desk for me, charged a reasonable fee, and were fun to talk to. I highly recommend Junk King Monterey. read more

Amazing service - from the call to set up to the guys who came and took the stuff. Totally courteous and prompt. Price seemed kind of high - but probably standard - I did not shop around. There was a surcharge for mattresses, but I think that's a California mandated thing, Use these guys! read more

I'm really happy with the service today from Junk King. They were on time and very professional. I received a thorough explanation of the estimate and the price was fair. Arrived as scheduled. Got the job done. Charged $20/boxspring for two boxsprings -- dump charges them $5 apiece (free if you take them in yourself). Communication was somewhat difficult. read more

Fast courteous service! Evan came early, From the initial call all the way through to pick up I was given outstanding service. Thank you.

In order to make room for our upcoming baby, we needed to get rid of a lot of old stuff in the house. I made an online appt. With Junk Kings for Saturday between noon and 3. Saturday arrives and I get a call from the guys at 9.30am, asking if I want to keep my appointed time or they could come earlier. The 2 gentlemen arrived and got to work estimating the cost based on volume etc. We were VERY impressed by how professional and nice these guys were. The estimate came in under what I had planned, and they had the truck loaded and done within 30 minutes!. I will totally use junk kings again; between the hassle free online appt, to the staff they employ, everything went perfect! Now we can get to work painting and nesting the baby's room! read more

I had the first of many small pickups as I clear out a home. I decided to try them to see how quickly they respond and the cost. Their staff came when I requested, within 24 hours and the price was much lower than I expected. They were in and out very quickly and provided me with a receipt by email. I am continuing to use them until I finish this project and will also use them in the future. Highly recommend. read more

The guys that came today were super nice even when I added something at the last minute.

Was quoted $228 to remove a washer and dryer. Said they couldn't be sure of quotes anyway until they saw stuff. Salinas Valley Junk Removal charged me $149 and also took a park bench, 2 suitcases and a bunch of misc. stuff. Rates are higher than competitors. read more

These guys were the best! Easy to book appointment in Santa Cruz. The driver called ahead of the scheduled time to say they were on the way. Even asked if they could come early! Super friendly and efficient. Above and Beyond: They even helped load a heavy couch into a friend's truck, without anyone asking. This is the second time I've used this company in the last year and I can't praise them enough! Great pricing. Good work! Keep it up! I will definitely call Junk King Monterey (Santa Cruz) in the future. read more

They are great - fair price and quick service

This past weekend, I helped my cousins clean out one of their rental properties in Salinas. We were amazed that Mario of Junk King came out on such a last minute service call to remove two truckloads of collected trash and landscape debris. $585 Service Call - Onsite pick up (see my picture of the actual truck). - Includes two guys that will enter the property to pick up, fill the truck, and haul it away. - Courteous guys and very cool (they had fun stories to share). - They were done with the first load in three hours. Two hours for the second load. - Pay cash and don't forget the tip the guys! - They do not pick up oil, chemicals, car batteries, and anything hazardous. - Ask for Mario Guzman. He's the franchise owner! Definitely going to have Mario and his team back again next month for another service call. We're still not done with the demo work that's ahead of us. read more

I've had a pile of cardboard in an old garage sink in the backyard for almost a year I finally got sick of it and called them only took the two guys about 15 minutes to clear out all the cardboard, light fixtures, garage tub, rakes and other old stuff on the side of my house that I've had out there forever and since it wasn't that big of a job and relatively quick only got charged a minimum of 70 bucks should've done this a long long time ago read more

Junk King Monterey - Great overall service! - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Marina, California

Absolutely top notch service. Fast, efficient and very prompt. I called about a week ago to see if same day appointments were available and within a couple of hours they were there and handled everything I needed. Would use them again. Thanks, I always appreciate great service. read more

Scheduled for yesterday. No call or knock at door. Called at 440. They say they are on the way and will call. No call. I call back around 510 and they say everyone went home for the day. Rescheduled for the next day and requested a call prior to make it a no contact pick up so everything can be outside in time for them. Again, no call prior to arrival. Get a knock on the door and it's them so now they had to wait at my door while I dragged the mattress out. Was also told I wouldn't have to sign anything. Was required to sign for pick up. All of that is the opposite of no contact pick up. Two stars because I'm so happy the mattress is finally gone. read more
