Set up an appointment day after Thanksgiving for Junk Guys Houston to hall away old computers, TVs and other junk from my father's in laws house. Very professional, shows up at the two hour window quickly took away everything I asked. Price was very reasonable. I think I reached out to them on a Thursday and was able to schedule my junk removal for that Saturday. They arrived early and worked quickly. They charge a fair price and also come into your home to remove the junk (two things that were important to me). Junk Guys is awesome! They removed my junk less than 12 hours after I first emailed them! I emailed Junk Guys Houston at about 11:00PM on Thursday night to get a quote for hauling off an old dishwasher. I received a response from Ricky within minutes, and then 2-3 more emails exchanged over the next 20 minutes or so and it was all said and done. $35 to haul off the dishwasher at 10:00AM the next morning. Ricky also worked with the fact that I couldn't be there when they picked up the junk, so he allowed me to leave payment under my doormat and that was that. I received confirmation that the dishwasher was gone from my doorstep by 10:00AM Friday morning (as they promised) and couldn't be happier. These guys were great. I contacted them on Friday evening 7/13/18. They responded back within about 30 minutes with a quote that I thought was fair relative to the last time I had a similar amount of items picked up here. I requested a pickup time of Saturday between 2-4. They confirmed the appointment by email. They texted me on Saturday a little before one asking if they could come early and I told them that was perfect because it was. They arrived and were polite and personable. We had a good laugh together because he learned more English and I learned more Spanish. I told him one of the pieces had ants on it and he said "what?" I replied "ants, it has some ants on it." He still had a puzzled look on his face so I asked him if he spoke English and he said "a little" which was a surprise because he had been speaking it pretty well without much of an accent. I looked it up on my phone with Google translate: Hormigos = ants. I showed it to him and he smiled. He pointed to one of the ants on the piece his son was holding and told him "ant". Language lessons aside, these guys are big, have a box truck, are reasonably priced and are punctual if not better. read more

The team of two came right at the end of the two hour window. Everything was short and sweet. They worked fast and were in and out in a breeze. The only downer was that they use cash apps, and if you don't have one and are paying with a credit card, then they charge "sales tax." I suggest they just called it a cc transaction fee. Recommended! I called on a Wednesday and gave some photos of the items we would want removed. I was calling in regards to an office in Houston which we have closed, and we are in Oklahoma. I've never even seen the inside of that office, let alone taken stock of exactly what all was in there. So I was pretty vague. Even so, the office lady called me back within an hour or so and gave me a prompt quote. She even offered for them to come just an hour later and haul it away! I requested two days later on the Friday instead, and they accommodated that request. They showed up that morning, right on time, and our property manager was 45 minutes late!
