I hired Mr. Conley in Andrews NC to remove a few trees. The day he arrived with a crew he did not…read moreeven let us know he had arrived. I awoke to chain saws. The problem was that his people were dropping trees without verifying it first. He decided on his own to cut down a tree on my neighbors land without saying anything first. Then he said there would be no charge for that tree! I had to inform my neighbor. He left several 2 foot trunk sections on the ground and a lot of brush. Each time I tried to speak with him he was on his phone. Then before reviewing the work he drove away leaving one employee to collect and to insist on cash. The price was almost double what he had promised. Plus he was now insisting on cash...no checks. When we called him he promised to come back on a certain day. We waited but he did not show. Then he declined responding to numerous phone calls. I am left with one 20 foot tree trunk he failed to remove and lots of Bush as well as a few trunk sections left on the ground. Hiring his team was a terrible mistake. Warn your friends.
