Adrian masked everything off to minimize the dust and mess. He put down tarps on the floors to protect them. Him and his helper were on time, courteous and worked their butts off. It was so much work. I kinda felt bad because it was so much work. They did a fantastic job and I feel like his price was fair for the tremendous amount of work. Thank you Adrian for all your hard work. Our kitchen renovation is officially under way. He stayed until the job was done and cleaned up well. He was…read moreable to schedule me for the following week, arrived right on time, and was professional and easy to communicate with from the start. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He took the time to pull the weeds growing between the decorative rocks around our pool area, which is a high-traffic spot that has always bothered me and was often overlooked by previous gardeners. He didn't just do a quick surface-level cleanup--he was thorough, and the difference is noticeable. My front and backyard look so much cleaner and better cared for. He was also completely comfortable working around our chickens and rooster, which was a big plus for us. I'm very happy with his work and am looking forward to continuing with monthly service. I would definitely recommend Ignacio to anyone looking for someone reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

I recently cleaned out my closets and got rid of a lot of clothes, shoes, extra sheets and…read moreblankets, and old textbooks from previous degrees. By the time I finished, I had a large pile of trash bags that needed to be hauled away. I went on Yelp to get a few quotes. I decided to go with Martin Hauling Demolition and Cleaning Up because his estimate was reasonable. After I received the quote, I realized I forgot to mention that I had stairs, so I updated him. He increased the price by $100. I understood the price increase and luckily, he was available the same day and arrived within a couple of hours. However, when he arrived, he increased the price by another $100. Sweet Jesus! I was ready to cancel, but I really wanted everything gone, so I reluctantly agreed. He said it was a lot but I took pictures and attached them when I asked for a quote. So he knew how much prior to his arrival. On the other hand, he was able to park his truck directly below my balcony and ended up tossing everything over the balcony into the truck. After all, he never had to carry anything down the stairs so I didn't feel the additional increase was justified. The job itself was completed in less than an hour, and I told him I wasn't comfortable with the final price. To his credit, he asked what I thought was fair, and we agreed on a lower amount. Even so, I still paid more than I expected and more than his original quote. I would give 5 stars for being available the same day, arriving quickly, and getting the job done. I would give 1 star for the pricing experience and the unexpected increases. Because of that, I wouldn't use or recommend Martin Hauling Demolition and Cleaning Up.

The only real issue I've ever had is that they're only open when Pacific Tire is open, since they are located behind PT and share the same driveway: still not enough reason to drop them to any less than 4.5 stars, so I'll round up as I am an optimist.
